I would love to say this was a wonderful experience BUT that's simply not the case.
Let me begin by saying we paid for:
"Prep fee: $100.00. This fee will cover preparing and sanitizing the unit prior to each rental."
The RV was neither sanitized nor prepped!
I found mens underwear & random stained pillows & a blanket on the bunk beds. I took photos of other areas that show the unit was NOT sanitized.
As far as prep is concerned, BOTH propane tanks were EMPTY! We had no heat the 1st night with temperatures dropping to below 50° My family awoke to a FREEZING RV. Also the stove & refrigerator would not work without propane either! All the food we purchased was in danger of spoiling. We did contact the owner via text to alert him to the fact that none of these items were in working order & he attempted to troubleshoot via text what to do. But nothing worked. He responded by saying he "could ride out in the morning."
Good thing, we stayed on a friends land locally (within 10miles) from where we rented the RV. The owner did come out the Next day to retrieve & fill the propane tanks. Once he did that. Everything worked fine.
Once I sanitized the RV & all the essentials were finally in working order I will say, the stay was more bearable. Although this was my husband's 1st trip in an RV & this experience has left a sour taste.
