1 Star. Terrible first experience. The host never showed up, abandoned us to figure everything out, and only cared about collecting the money. They also claim to be a "military host," but it turns out they are absolutely not. Communication was nonexistent. Worst of all, the trailer ad originally showed a safe weight, but the listing details somehow changed after we arrived. The actual trailer was 8,000 pounds and impossible to tow. Neither the host nor customer support cared to help. Avoid this all together.

Loved the RV. Just wished the generator would have been provided. We were unable to use any of the kitchen appliances due to not having a generator. Pick up and drop off was easy.

We rented this RV for a family camping trip, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing from start to finish. Since this was our first time renting an RV, we let the hosts know multiple times that we would need a walkthrough to ensure we operated everything safely and correctly. They assured us someone would be there to help, but that never happened. Instead, when we asked for assistance, we were told we should already know how to use it, despite being upfront from the beginning that we were first-time renters. Communication was inconsistent throughout the rental process. The initial phone number provided in the listing actually reached a jiu-jitsu business that immediately tried to sell us lessons, which was confusing and felt very unprofessional. When I mentioned it to the hosts, they simply gave me a different phone number and said that was the one I should be using, but never explained why the original number was listed. In addition, the pickup location listed on the rental site was not the actual pickup location. After booking, we were given a completely different address for both pickup and drop-off, which created unnecessary confusion before our trip even began. We also asked about delivery since it is advertised in the listing. We provided plenty of notice, but received several conflicting explanations as to why delivery was no longer available. First, we were told they had a driver who handled deliveries. Later we were told the host’s wife did the deliveries, and then we were told she wasn’t available. While they ultimately allowed us to pick the RV up the evening before our trip, which we appreciated, the communication surrounding delivery was confusing and inconsistent. When we arrived to pick up the RV, the door had been left unlocked, and no one was there to provide the promised walkthrough or even confirm the proper hitch size. We eventually got everything hooked up ourselves, but the lack of guidance made what should have been a straightforward pickup much more stressful. Throughout the process, the host was dismissive and unwilling to provide assistance, despite knowing this was our first RV rental. The condition of the RV was the biggest disappointment. Once we got it home to begin loading for our trip, we discovered dirty linens, dust throughout the RV, a noticeable sewage smell, and even a pair of dirty men’s underwear hidden in the top bunk. It was obvious the bedding had not been changed from the previous renters. My daughter and I spent nearly two hours in the Phoenix heat, without air conditioning, stripping every bed, vacuuming debris, wiping down surfaces, and replacing all of the bedding with our own before we felt comfortable using the RV. Before leaving for our campsite, we also discovered every tire was at roughly half of the recommended PSI. Considering the rental agreement states the RV is inspected before each rental, this was especially concerning from a safety standpoint. We spent another hour inflating all of the tires before we could safely begin our trip. After arriving at the campground, we found one of the air conditioners wasn’t working. Roadside assistance was excellent and eventually helped us locate the fuse box, where a simple reset solved the issue. Had we received the walkthrough we requested from the beginning, this likely would have taken only a few minutes instead of spending nearly 45 minutes troubleshooting. We were also never able to get the oven to light. We eventually got the stovetop working after some effort, but even after watching instructional videos, the oven would not ignite. Again, I believe a proper orientation would have prevented a lot of frustration. The RV itself also appears to need maintenance. Several areas had pieces of plywood simply tacked onto the walls that shifted or came loose with minor contact. I would strongly recommend that anyone renting this RV thoroughly document its condition with photos and videos before leaving. One thing that also concerned me happened during the return. Although the hosts were flexible in allowing us to return the RV a little later than the scheduled 5:00 p.m. drop-off, they never mentioned that another renter was arriving the same day. During the return process, they asked whether we had cleaned the RV and if it was ready for the next renters. While we absolutely cleaned up after ourselves, the tanks still needed to be dumped, and the rental agreement does not state that renters are responsible for preparing the RV for the next guest. Considering the condition we received it in—with dirty linens, debris, and other cleanliness issues—it made me question whether the RV is actually cleaned and inspected between rentals. Storage inside the RV was also very disorganized, leaving very little usable space for our belongings, and there were very few cooking utensils or kitchen essentials provided. Overall, this rental created far more stress than it should have. I appreciate that the hosts were flexible with allowing an early pickup and accommodating our slightly late return, and I want to acknowledge those positives. However, they did not outweigh the overall experience. If you choose to rent this RV, I strongly recommend thoroughly inspecting it before leaving, checking all tire pressures, testing every appliance and system, bringing your own linens, and taking detailed photos and videos of the RV’s condition. Unfortunately, based on our experience with the communication, cleanliness, maintenance, and lack of support, I would not rent this RV again or recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed the use of this camper. It was my wife's 60th birthday then we use the trailer as a getaway cottage at my sister's house for a weekend of celebration. We will most likely rent the camper again in the future.
