You don’t have to keep your time too leisurely however as you can often find fun activities at many of nature areas. It’s always nice to find a good area while you are getting used to the city and Tolman Memorial Park is quite charming. With its tall ornate trees, and pleasant trails this park is a great place to get wild with some climbing and the large playground. For a different atmosphere try Eggett Park where you trade the green trees for yellow hills and even more room to spread out. This park covers around 160 acres with beautiful foliage and rolling hills. Then you can step it up even further with a trip over to Mueller Park Picnic Area. Beyond sharing a meal here you can find some of the best trails in the area reaching elevations up to 5,400 feet. The scenery is amazing and there are plenty of places to stop along the three-hour trail. You can find another great spot at North Canyon Park where multiple sports fields and playgrounds combine with some amazing trails for a full afternoon. The North Canyon Trail can be found nearby and covers 7.3 miles for a nice expedition through the foothills of Utah. For the true canyon experience however you probably want to head over to Holbrook Canyon. Once there you will find a 5.4-mile long trail that will take you to some of the best sights in the area. If you enjoy great trails the Bonneville Shoreline Trail is another one that is constantly growing. Make sure you don’t leave without checking out Creekside Park where Bountiful out does itself with one of the most amazing neighborhood parks you’ll find. With an intense playground and a beautiful boardwalk there’s plenty to enjoy here. You are never at a loss for a great park to enjoy when you rent a motorhome in Bountiful.
