The baby bus is a Chevrolet Express Skoolie Conversion. It features a complete custom cedar and baltic birch interior fully equipped with 2 extendable beds that can sleep 3 people comfortably. Additionally, it features a full 3-burner stove and oven combo, a sink, a fridge, a sweet full extendable hidden table, a wood-burning stove (mini fireplace), an optional cassette toilet, a fan, a Thule for extra gear and a rooftop deck! Powering it all is 300 amp hours of lithium batteries, 390W of solar and a 1500W inverter for all your 120V needs. The bus has tons of hidden storage and insulated curtains that allow you to choose between breathtaking views and privacy. It was my full-time home for 5 months on the road, so it has everything you could possibly need. Outdoor shower? Check. Propane heater? Check. A sweet sound system? Check. It is a cabin on wheels and is just the cutest. What's includedThe bus will come equipped with everything you need to cook and camp including a 3-person tent and basic camping tools. A few cool add-ons include a yoga mat, a foam roller, a propane heater, fresh linens and blankets and a sweet sound system that is custom-built into cabinets themselves.RecommendationsGo and adventure! This bus has taken me to Mexico and back through many national parks including Yellowstone, the Tetons, Arches, Zion and the Redwoods. The deck offers plenty of space for paddleboards, surfboards and even a tent to soak in some incredible views !Other things to noteI custom-built this bus. I intend to use it while I go to grad school. As such, I expect guests to treat it like their own home. Please no smoking and no irresponsible behaviour. There are certain features of the bus that require a bit of finesse and a list of things that need to be done to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. Please be respectful and clean as I poured my entire soul into this little space, I would be heartbroken if something bad happened to my baby.

Excellent communication, some cancellations

Marcos was noted for excellent communication and responsiveness. However, he canceled two bookings, one on the day of departure and another 7 days prior.

Reliable engine, unique character

The Baby Bus is a unique, head-turning vehicle with a well-equipped, spacious, and cozy interior, handcrafted by the owner. Its efficient solar system allows for extended off-grid use, and the engine consistently performs reliably.

Guests love it for families

Marcos was great! The baby bus is exactly as advertised and was more than awesome for our 8 day trip around Vancouver island. We did not plug in or charge the batteries once and thanks to the solar panels the batteries only went down about 10% the whole trip! The bus is loaded with everything you’ll need and more. I would book again.

The bus is amazing. It makes for a great trip, it has the most character and surely beats a normal RV out of the water by a long shot. Why rent something normal and cookie cutter when you could rent this? So many people ask, compliment, and turn their heads you'll start acting like you own it and built it. Seriously, don’t waste time looking elsewhere, rent the bus !

Host was incredible. Excellent communication. The bus though, this is everything you need to know. This bus turns heads. People either point, wave , or talk to you about it right away. Is it a brand new posh motor home? No. BUT This bus has everything those don’t. Class Comfort Style Most importantly, Character This bus took us all around BC and I wouldn’t have done it any other way. Can’t wait to be back next year and explore more of the province with it. I promise you, this is what you want AND what you need. Book it. You absolutely will not regret it

I had a blast! The bus is great, spacious, cozy and the perfect way to enjoy British Columbia. Handle it with care because it needs to be taken care of! Marco responded at any time and was a great help.

A.

I am decently flexible as long as it is reasonable.

Meet your host, Marcos

Member since 2023

I love the outdoors. I've held many hats from marine naturalist, outdoor adventures guide to international Canadian Delegate. I have a graduate degree in public policy and have spent many years in the climate advocacy space, from working with Indigenous Nations on water governance, to organizing climate strikes but to be honest, I don't imagine myself living a conventional life. I I still spend a lot of time in the bus, constantly improving it and one day, I hope to live in a sailboat for an extended amount of time. I love travelling, I think nature is inherently valuable and worth protecting and am super passionate about getting people in the beautiful outdoors. After all, people protect what they know. The bus is a very personal project of mine, one that is a testament to tenacity, perseverance and creativity. It is built from a place of love, and I hope you make some lovely memories in it !
