We both work and take care of family so a weekend away is like GOLD.

We rented Xavier for a 10 day adventure through north central BC to Jasper National Park. This trailer housed our family of 4 (two children under 3). We all cozied up in the big bed, which was tight but actually quite fun and enjoyable. Towing Xavier was super easy with our Toyota Tacoma. We travelled some windy roads, and it was no problem. We loved the trailer and our adventure!

Rob and Joanna’s answer

What a pleasure to rent to your whole family! We are sincerely happy that you enjoyed the trailer and had such a cozy stay. We hope you reach out again for another adventure.

We rented Xavier for a 4 day adventure to the Olympic Peninsula, WA state, visiting Port Angeles, Dungeness Spit, Neah Bay, Cape Flattery, Forks, Kalaloch Beach (Tree of Life), Lake Quinault, Seabrook (beach town), and finally across the ferry Kingston to Edmonds. Pulling the Basecamp behind our 4Runner was a piece of cake and most of the time you hardly even notice it. It was the perfect size for me and my wife and we really felt we were glamping with microwave, bathroom with shower, fridge/freezer, solar panel set up. Rob and Joanna did an amazing job walking through all of the features and electronics and although trailers may seem intimidating to newbies, they are really quite easy to manage. For sure we will rent Xavier again! ..

This was our first time renting and pulling a trailer and Rob & Joanna's Airstream trailer was perfect!

Rob and Joanna were most helpful and patient as we had to make changes to our trailer electrical system and brake installation at the last minute. Once we were ready to go they took time to show us the ins and outs of the systems which, as seniors, meant more patience was required especially with the digital controls. The trailer tows beautifully up hill and down and along the winding roads in B.C. Kootenay area where we spent more than 3 weeks in 5 different camp sites. We found the bed spacious and comfortable; the sink and propane stove were extremely clean and easy to use. Storage cupboards were filled with a variety of kitchen equipment, especially appreciated were the electric kettle and toaster. The fridge has plenty of room and freezer works well, one needs to check adjustments to ensure balance. For older people (80 and 93) we found it a challenge to get down to see into cupboards and back of the fridge as well as the lack of inside seating when not wanting to convert the bed .. a small folding stool would help. We took folding chairs and a small table that easily stored under the bed through the back door. The solar panel kept batteries up when we were without electrical hook up for a couple of days. We would highly recommend renting from Rob and Joanna both because of their care and attention and because their Airstream Basecamp is in great condition and trailers very well.

Rob and Joanna’s answer
