We love camping and we love ourselves more while camping. The freedom and wilderness is all our family and friends needs to recenter. We have taken our camper to The Lake of the Ozark to boondock at my parents Lake house to have our own space. We LOVE floating and river vibes, we've been to the Niangua, Bennett springs, White River in Arkansas, River ranch on the Elk River in Noel, MO. We take it to Branson MO often, it's cheaper to camp than it is to stay in hotels. Most places have Wi/fi, you can just log into your netflix/disney+, huly etc.. accounts to unwind at the end of a fun filled day.
We love to have a toasty Campfire and play Mario on the Nintendo switch on the outside TV.
We also love our adult river float camps, the dreamy Edison bulbs, music playing on the speakers, and a cocktail hour(s) while making a dump cake in the Dutch oven.
We recommend you pack your favorite things. A camper is a great excuse to over pack. No need to go without, and if you like to camp minimally, just do that instead- camping loves all styles. Just please adhear to the tow weight of your vehicle and the max weight of the rig.It can sleep 10, if you're with only full sized adults,
6-8 Will prob be the sweet spot for optimal comfort.
Other things to note●If you will be relying on any item listed in the "what's included section" be sure to LET US KNOW. we don't keep every item In the camper to keep weight down, so items rotate. No guarantee it will be there if you don't LET US KNOW.
●confirm the towing capacity of your vehicle- see camper specs for wet/dry storage in pics
●when booking a campsite, make sure it is a 30 AMP service. Use surge protector.
●if you book a site without water, let us know and we will fill with water before you leave if you wish. (Account for weight differential.)
●if you book a site without sewage, most places have communal dump stations, use that before you return, if not try truck stops.
●return it clean, swept, and put away.
●the sway bars are very helpful to give you more control of the trailer
●if your vehicle has a trailer package, the rig has trailer breaks
●check your lights (blinkers, braks and hazards) before you drive off anywhere.
●adhear to CURRENT fire laws. They change with the season and conditions. Do not travel firewood. It spreads tree disease. COMPLETELY put fires out before you leave or sleep. Smokey ain't playing anymore.
●when you book spots, make sure it can accommodate length of 30 ft.
●you must return the camper empty of all fluids, fresh, black and gray water. Empty the fresh water into the gray, then the gray into the black to flush it out.
●pets: Check the pet rules at each campground. Most have weight/breed rules. All have leash laws.
●you are welcome to bring 2 well mannered pets. Please kennel them indoors to have climate control while you are away from the camper to protect our shades, curtains, uphoulstry. We have a medium sized canvas kennel you can use. If your pets have an accident, please clean it immediatley and thoroughly. Please use the provided covers for uphulstry when bringing pets. Pleather and pet claws dont mesh well. We will allow pets until we get burned.
●we will give you a thorough tour and tutorial when you pick up.
●the indoor, outdoor speakers are super cool, but double check that it's not playing outside while your inside or after quiet hours.
●if it's your first time pulling, were happy to give you lots of tips and tricks and send some videos. There's also some check lists we can include as reminders. First bit of advice, start close, on straight roads.
●do not let anyone inside the camper until the camper is detached from vehicle, Jack's and tongue are down, and chocks are set. It's a house on wheels, it can roll, shift, sway right onto someone, Dorothy.
●most campgrounds have some sort of storm alert system, but you should program the storm radio to your location.
●don't smoke in there. It's not 1996. Feel free to vape whatever you want as long as it's low odor.
●the refrigerator takes about 24 hours to cool, let us know ahead of time if you'd like us to start cooling it for you for immediate use.
●if there is an emergency, accident, issue, we will be avaliable to assist where we can
●if the power isn't working, it's usually the camp ground breakers. Call them to have them switch it out before you freak out. If that doesn't do it, then it may be a fuse (they need regular changes) we will show you how to do this and provide a tool kit for quick fixes like this and you can call us to walk you through.
●depending on how many people you have, you only have 3-4 days with regular use like showers, dishes, cleaning, using the bathroom etc, before you will need to empty the black and gray water.
- my advice is (especially if you have more than a few people) is to use the shower houses as much as possible for bodily needs.
●for the love of all that is holy, make sure you put the stairs up and handle bar in before you pull off.
●if there is wind greater than than 15 mph, do not use the awning. Those suckers will rip clean off and they cost thousands to repair. Keep an eye on the weather. It's a great idea to just put it in if you're going to be away from camp for the day in a place that the weather changes abruptly, like rivers and lakes.
●please do not camp with people you do not trust.
●please be respectful of other campers and camp rules. - most have quiet hour rules.
● if you're going to be drunkards, just please drink lots of water don't hulk out.
●have a spotter when backing up. I usually get out, call my husband over the truck and guide him back. Decide your system and phrasing on the way there. This will be the first true test of your relationship.
●accidents happen, just let us know and help us work it out.
●most of all, be kind to yourselves, especially if it's your first time trying camping. Be kind, patient and drink electrolytes. Don't get bothered by people watching you back your camper in, we have all been there. Campground people are usually so nice, if they haven't already offered, just ask for help.
