If you enjoy small quirky museums, you’ll definitely like the Cle Elum Telephone Museum. The town was one of the last to upgrade from the manual switchboard that was used to connect customers from the invention of the telephone up until the 1970s. While not related to the telephone, there are also a few interesting coal-mining artifacts from the town’s earlier days.
