If you want to see some of the massive mountains in Washington, North Cascades National Park is a great place to do so. There are lots of archaeological sites remaining from the paleo-native forebears who called the area home, in addition to vast stretches of wilderness where no roads or structures exist. You can camp out nearby in the adjoining Lake Chelan National Recreation Area and the Ross Lake National Recreation Area because there are no RV-accessible campgrounds in the wild national park. There are other places in Washington you can head to like Mount Rainier National Park or Olympic National Park, but both require a fair bit of driving when you rent an RV in distant Point Roberts.
