The van is equipped with a strong electrical setup, including solar power, a Battle Born lithium battery system, Victron inverter, and outlets for charging devices and running essentials. The roof vent fan runs off the battery/solar system and helps keep air moving when you’re off-grid.

Two sisters-in-law founded Coastal Van Co after their first shared campervan experience in Yosemite was less than satisfactory. Their enthusiasm quickly dwindled as they arrived at the rental company and were given the keys to their home for the week. Contrary to their expectations to enjoy a minimalistic yet high-quality campervan experience, the van was cheaply built, the interior uncomfortable, and the vehicle was outdated and unreliable – with an obnoxious exterior. Even the essentials came at an additional cost and what was advertised online was a far stretch from reality.
Their unmet expectations allowed them to realize something. Their inspiration from this experience - combined with their knowledge as avid adventurers - qualified them to launch their own brand and provide the all-inclusive campervan experience they both desired.
And with that realization, Coastal Van Co was born.
