Recommendations Alum Creek State Park is essentially in our back yard, which features 3,300 acre reservoir, great for swimming boating, hiking trails, horse back riding, disc golf, and a 286 spot camp ground with electric hook up.Deleware State Park is also located on the north end of Columbus, approximately 15 minutes from Alum Creek State Park. It features a 1,300-acre reservoir where boaters will find all they need for a great day on the lake including a marina, boat launch ramps for both power and paddle craft. Spend time in the woods hiking, birdwatching, or disc golfing. There is a large family campground with 200 electric sites surrounded by mature trees.
