Winter/Off-Season Bookings: the RV is not ideal for winter camping and winter driving in the mountains is only suitable for experienced drivers. Rentals in the off season (November-April) are only for trips to warmer regions where the temperature is consistently above freezing including the trip there and back. The water system will be winterized so the toilet, shower and sinks are not usable in the winter.2026 bookings: note the rate increase to 250 CAD/night and additional pet (dog) fee of $200/booking due to the excess cleaning needed after rentals with dogs. While we still accept dogs and have our own pup, the cleaning times are 3-4 times more after a rental with dogs.USD Caution: you may be viewing prices in USD if you are browsing and not logged in. The minimum price for the RV is $225 CAD per night. If the price you see is less, it is in USD. You will see the final total in CAD when you make a booking.Rent an E-Bike with the RV, helmet, lock, pannier and hitch-mounted bike rack included in bike rental rate. Choose as an add-on for your rental.Designed by the manufacturer as a high quality 4-season Class C rental vehicle and outfitted by us for comfort and adventure, our Glamping Adventurer sleeps 5, with seat belts for 6, and is pet friendly. No special license is required, and it's easy to drive. We rented for nearly two weeks to drive to Banff & Jasper, and it was the perfect choice. The vehicle was smooth and easy to drive and having all the little extras included made everything that much nicer. We are a family of 4 and all slept well on the beds and the teenager fell in love with the cozy, soft blankets provided. Great hosts and a great vehicle!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

Do you have other camping equipment we can add to our booking?

A.

Just ask! We have a lot more camping equipment that can be added, including two 4 person tents, camping shelters, and more chairs.

Q.

Are my dates available?

A.

The availability calendar is kept up to date. If there is a booking request pending but not confirmed, the dates may appear to be available until the booking is completed. Request the dates of your choice and we will let you know if they are still available.

Q.

How much will I pay for gas?

A.

Class C RVs of this size, including ours, are in the range of 8-10 mpg. The mpg you will experience depends a lot on driving speed, winds, and terrain (hills/mountains consume more gas). The gas tank is 35 gallons, so a fill is about $180 (assume $1.30/litre gas price). We prefer to top up the tank every 2-3 hours with rest stops. We plan ahead looking for cheaper gas in larger centres. There are online fuel consumption calculators to estimate fuel consumption for your trip.

Q.

How can I plan my trip to reduce the cost of gas?

A.

If you want to reduce fuel costs for your trip, choose destinations where you can park the RV and walk/bike/use public transportation. Parks near Winnipeg that work well for this plan include Riding Mountain National Park, Winnipeg Beach, Birds Hill Park and in Minnesota, Itasca State Park (amazing!) and the Red River Recreation Area campground in East Grand Forks. Even on a longer road trip you can plan the itinerary to reduce mileage. Ask us for suggestions for the trip you are thinking about!

Superhosts are highly-rated and experienced, ensuring you have a fantastic outdoor experience.

Our dream of full-time road-tripping led to the Glamping Adventurer, recently purchased to use until we retire and outfitted as a rental RV to share with others while we are still working. We have enjoyed numerous camping trips in Canada and the US in our A-liner, hybrid and bunkhouse trailers, visiting national and provincial parks, and finding the best diners, bakeries, unique shops and roadside attractions along the way. We would like to inspire you with our love of travelling and the fantastic finds we have discovered along the way!
