Fortunate to grow up in East Africa and The Middle East and spend a lot of time overlanding in the ‘60s and ‘70s. We greatly enjoy long distance dry camping, our favorite recent trips have been to Big Bend N.P. And Comb Ridge/Cedar Mesa. Our kids are well gone, retired and enjoying planning travels.

Great little trailer. Everything you would want.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Weekdays 10a until 7p with prior arrangement at our pickup location. Weekends by prior appointment.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Water and electric are the only hookups you’ll need! Both hose and cord are provided and we’ll demonstrate how they work!

Q.Will my vehicle pull the trailer? What about trailer brakes?
A.
You will need an SUV/4x4/Pickup capable of pulling a 2350# trailer. This also means that your tow vehicle PLUS the trailer shouldn't exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight sticker on your drivers door frame, when everything is onboard both vehicles. We require that you have a brake controller for the trailers electric brakes. If you do not, we can provide one (see amenities) with adapters for a 4 pin to 7 pin brake set up.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
A couple things that’ll make life easier. Always set your stabilizing jacks before opening the tent. The galley can be opened when hitched, or unhitched. Remember to roll back the top cover before opening the tailgate. Always pin, chain and plug when hooking up to your tow vehicle - pin the hitch in the receiver, chain the trailer to the receiver, hook up the emergency brakes, and plug the electrics in place then check lights!
