About Bob Johnson

For several years, my wife Ann and I talked about traveling in an RV once we retired. We rented camper vans to confirm we did enjoy van travel and camping - and that our two Cavapoos agreed. Finally, this spring after retiring, we purchased our 2025 Winnebago Solis PX! Since Ann had spent the last year planning the modifications and décor for the van, we jumped right in to make Wanda our own. Pleased with the results, and eager to hit the road, we visited local campgrounds and made one 33 day & 3700-mile trip! Charlie and Maggie enjoyed it so much now we call them the Camping Cavapoos! Wanda – and the trips – were a delight! We have put a lot of effort into making Wanda an outstanding experience for renters. After gathering experience through our travels and writing the Renter’s Manual and orientation talk, we are ready to share Wanda with fellow travelers through Outdoorsy.
