Our favorite state parks are Beachside State Park, Cape Lookout State Park, South Beach State Park, and on the other side of the state , Farewell Bend State Park. We have also enjoyed camping in state parks in Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah.Other things to noteSMOKING IN THE VAN IS NOT PERMITTED.No music festivals (e.g. Burning Man), tailgate parties, off-road driving and climbing on top of the roof.VIOLATIONS OF THE ABOVE WILL RESULT IN FORFITURE OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT.These are available upon request at no charge:

Review summary
Outstanding communication and detailed walkthroughs
Robert and his wife are consistently praised for clear communication, thorough instructions (in-person and via a rental book), and being very helpful and accommodating, even offering airport pick-up and flexible times.
Drives great, easy to park
Wanda is frequently described as easy to drive and park, even in cities, despite its 21ft length. It’s well-equipped, clean, comfortable with a spacious queen bed, indoor stove/sink, toilet, and has a popular pop-top bed.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
How does the electrical hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
For campsites with electricity, a surge protector and 30-amp power cord are provided - enabling the use of the AC & appliances like coffee pots, blenders, etc. No outside electrical source? There is a generator for limited use of appliances, but it will not power the AC overnight.
Q.
How does the water hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The van will have a full 20-gallon freshwater tank when you pick it up - usually plenty for a short trip unless there are lots of showers. A hookup to an outside water source throughout time in camp does not work well because a back door needs to stay open. If the tank needs to be refilled, a water hose, water filter, and pressure regulator with instructions are provided.
Q.
How does the sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Easy! No sewer hook up needed! The cassette toilet is easy to use and to empty. We will show you how - and it is in the Renter's Manual.
Q.
How do we know what to do when we leave camp and when we return the van?
A.
A departure checklist is on wall by the bathroom and in the Renter's Manual. A checklist for rental van return is also in the Renter's Manual along with illustrated instructions for emptying the cassette toilet and the grey water tank. These topics are also covered in your orientation.
