Jacques! New in 2023!
Jacques is an explorer, like his name’s sake, but this Jacques explores on land.
Jacques is 1,375 lb/624 kg. A fuel saving teardrop. Pull with almost anything. (Check your owners manual.) The further you go the more you save!
Jacques sleeps two on a 5” thick 58.5” by 6-foot 8-inch-long mattress! It converts to a sofa!
Beautiful craftsmen cabinetry. Multi speed reversible MaxxFan automatically reacts to temperature and rain! Remotely air out the bedroom on hot nights before going inside! USB & 110-volt outlets; cross ventilation; porch lights to check the critters before stepping into the dark!
Jacques’s kitchen? More craftsmen cabinetry. Counter space galore! With a mystery map! Kailani cooler. Two burner stove, 5 lb propane tank and 10’ connection hose; - never place inside. There are a 12- and 110-volt outlets in the kitchen. You’re protected under the cover of Jacques’s trail gate!
Jacques ahhh-awning! Stake it down (very important) for sun and rain protection. Sit and enjoy the evening sun (maybe with a glass of the earth’s bounty). That's the enjoyment you got away for in the first place!
Strongest roof top rack on this type of vehicle anywhere! Secure your kayak, canoe, a carrier; even a roof top tent!
Jacques has a 2” receiver for your bike carrier and a secure storage box.
Jacques needs the proper connections: a 2" tow ball and a functioning 7-pin electrical You have a 4-pin? We can loan an adapter - be mindful his brakes only function with a 7-pin.
Jacques is a well built Gnome Home with essentials and some creature comforts. He loves adventures! Go ahead. Live a Little!
Pick up: weekdays 2:30 to 7 pm; weekends 10 am to 6 pm. At pick-up allow 45 minutes for orientation, inspection, and paper work. At return allow 20 minutes for re-inspection and sign off.
Jacques is not pet friendly.
Before pick-up ensure your hook-ups are correct and functioning, or Jacques will not be allowed to join your adventure – and he will sulk for days!
What's includedWhat's included?
Freshly laundered complete bedding including pillows and a quilt. Towels. Kailani Cooler. Two burner propane stove, 5 pound propane tank. Fry pan. Kettle. Camp toaster. Kitchen utensils. Kitchen linens. Two place settings. Folding table with two camp chairs.

Meet your host, John

Member since 2020

Susan's interest is photography. John's is bicycling. We combine both when traveling on vacation. Micro trailers save our fuel expense.
Stretching awake to the raising sun in the campsite in the morning, maybe we have a little breakfast. Then John peddles off toward a pre-determined destination down the road. Susan breaks camp and seeks interesting photography at various places along the general route.
Susan generally passes John around mid-day. We confirm tonight's target, and go about doing what we like doing.
Often when John rolls in at the end of an afternoon, Susan is not around, but our micro trailer is. It typically welcomes a thirsty cyclist with a cold beverage in the late afternoon sunshine.
By the time John showers off the day's grime, Susan has usually appeared. Maybe we fire up the BBQ grill or the stove, (maybe both), or head out to a near-by local joint we may have passed that looked interesting, for dinner.
Often there is an evening glass of red, with some quiet music, maybe around a small fire.
Then it's time to cuddle in for good night's sleep.
Because tomorrow, we'll do it all again.
