Absolutely recommend Randy and his vintage camper! Was perfect for my son, 2 dogs, and myself! We drove 10 hours to Chickasha,Ok from south Louisiana, for the National Santa Gertrudis Cattle Show. This was my first time ever renting renting a camper ever and it to be delivered! Randy was very responsive throughout the whole process and answered all of my questions before, during and after. He set everything up for us, explained how to work everything, and even let us use their dog cushion for our dogs. The camper is quaint, charming, and nostalgic. It is perfect for any get away. The one mishap we did have was that the camper could not be delivered to the arena on the day we arrived. The camper was rented for the week before and was going to be returned the morning of our arrival. Randy planned to clean it and then deliver to us that evening, which would have been perfect. There had been a lot of rain in the area which obviously can cause mud. When the prior campers were ready to leave the spot they were in, the truck that pulled it could not get it out because of mud. Then a tow truck was called and could not get to it and pull it out and then a tractor tried and could not get it out, as all vehicles would have destroyed the land to get to the camper and pull it out. Randy received the news and during the afternoon and kept me informed the whole time. Having 2 dogs and a National cattle show going on 2 miles from the nearest pet friendly hotel, I wasn't sure any rooms would be available. Once the final outcome was determined and the camper could not be moved, Randy let me know. He called and rented my son, two dogs, and I a room at a hotel. He was not sure whether or not the trailer would be able to be moved at all the next day and he let me know. As a single mom I budget everything, and that is why I chose to rent the camper and it would be on the arena grounds. The hotel would have been $230 a night compared to $85 and would not have been convenient. The next day Randy assured me that hay was being put down to try and dry the grounds to get the camper out. Throughout the day we waited in suspense as to whether or not we would be able to unpack and be settled. That evening around 530ish I finally got the call that the camper was headed back to Randy, which would take an hour or so. Then Randy wanted to clean it, and then he could deliver to us. By 10pm on Monday night Randy and his sweet wife, Dawn were at the grounds and setting up the camper, even down the the grill setup and mat for the ground, and chairs for outside! Randy paid for the hotel, said I would not be charged for the Sunday night rental, and also came back during the week to help me with the gray water-note to self, no long showers (it was my first camper rental lol). Randy's camper was wanted by many of my friends at the national cattle show, I got it first! I highly recommend this camper for anyone to rent, and know that the owners are top notch. The rental process was easy and the deposit is refunded a week after your rental if there are no problems with the camper. Thank you Randy and Dawn, we look forward to renting from you again and going back to OK to visit and sight see, without any cows! Have a great time camping when you rent this Vintage gem!
