Meet your host, Scott

Member since 2022

I grew up on the West Coast, but have lived in Maine for 5 years. I have always had a passion for camping and outdoor activities, and have owned several van/camper builds. My 2012 Ford transit camper (Casco) has been my daily driver for four years, and I have brought it on countless camping trips throughout New England. I am excited for the opportunity to share it with others interested in exploring Maine!

Drove almost 2800 miles. Had an amazing trip down to the great Smokey mountains and Shenandoah.

Equipped with all the essentials, the van was the perfect way for us to explore Acadia, with Portland as our launch pad. Big enough to be comfy for sleeping and storing bags, but small enough to drive easily (for someone used to driving a small car!)...this van gets five stars for sure. Also, Scott was SUPER accommodating and communicative. Would recommend!

Scott was extremely flexible. Everything worked as described. Would rent again!

Overall experience was Easy, Enjoyable, and Excellent!
Scott was great - easy to "work" and communicate with. Van was comfortable, straight-forward to drive, not a gas guzzler, decent bed/bedding, compact enough to park anywhere, and came with just the right amount of extras (large cooler, window screens for a front and a slide door, USB port/regular plug and interior lights powered by solar panel/inverter, window shades, picnic blanket, camp stove, dishes/cutlery/cutting board). The game-changing items we brought: 12V USB hub and cables, mosquito net, USB powered fan, bungees (to sling fan across doorway), snacks, and a cute little dog :)
Highlight: We enjoyed making coffee and just hanging out in the van (check out the view!) on top of Cadillac Mountain while waiting to watch the sunset.
