Willamette has been outfitted by the folks at Sportsmobile and offers all of the necessities for comfort while on the road. Based off of the proven Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the 3-liter V-6 diesel engine offers excellent fuel economy while providing plenty of horsepower. The floor plan is set up with a wet bath/shower and cassette style toilet. Willamette offers a seating area big enough for 4 to sit at the table and enjoy a meal or play a board game. Cooking a meal is a breeze in Willamette. The 2.5-cu. ft. compressor-driven refrigerator keeps food cool, while the single-burner induction cooktop allows flameless cooking inside the vehicle. There is plenty of room to prepare a meal on the butcher block counter top that also includes a sink with both hot and cold water. There is 21 gallons of onboard fresh water for ample off the grid camping and city water hookups to use when you pull into a full service camp spot. When it is time to go to bed, the rear bench and table area easily folds down into a queen size bed. The windows come complete with both privacy screens or black out shades. We include soft cotton sheets and down pillows and comforter with duvet for a great nights rest. Also, this Sprinter is now equipped with a diesel heater for night time use.We take your vacation seriously. We give each vehicle a thorough mechanical inspection before each trip insuring your road trip to be hassle free. We have been in business since 2010 and have had 100's of happy customers and our shop is located close to the Portland airport.

We had everything we needed to cook available in the van including salt, pepper, olive oli, aluminum foil, and bug spray to mention a few items. The staff at Road Trip Oregon are super friendly and helpful. They had great recommendations for places to stop. Unfortunately, my husband locked the keys in the van. We called them before calling the locksmith at 7:00 a.m. Someone responded to our call in 15 minutes. They were great to work with.

First and foremost, it's always a pleasure doing business with Road Trip Oregon. Yet in good conscience I cannot recommend the Willamette Sprinter. Our trip took us to NW MT and back (PDX) in summertime heat. The van had no cabin AC (and we sweltered in the summertime heat). No screens for side/rear doors, only the two (2) small tip-out windows on driver side and a roof vent. No steps or running boards for safe entry/exit. Inadequate size refrigerator that opens outward so you have to exit the van from the slider door to open/close the fridge. Several cabinets out of adjustment and needed repair. The armrests were removed from the driver/co-pilot seats which made for uncomfortable seating while traveling. And no drain hose for the gray water holding tank.

We really liked the service from Road Trip Oregon, very friendly and informative for a first time Van renter. The Willamette was a great sized van for us, small enough to be able to park easily when around towns but big enough to be comfortable in camp. We also were pleasantly surprised with the engine power and performance (25mpg). All of our camping was in sites without hookups so we needed to be conservative on power consumption. The induction stove is not optimum for this kind of camping since it requires an inverter and draws a lot of power from the batteries. We ended up not using it. We recommend getting an auxiliary propane stove from Road Trip Oregon if this is the type of camping you plan to do. The small diesel indoor heater was fantastic for cold nights. The bed was comfortable and we loved having the bench seating in the back with movable table for use during the day. For the two of us, the 20 gal water tank is good for about 2-3 days depending on use. Not all campgrounds without hookups will have the proper water faucet fitting for filling up the tank, something to be prepared for. Overall we had a great experience, only the induction stove was an issue.
