<p><span style="font-weight: 400">If your Outdoorsy referral rents a vehicle on Outdoorsy, you will receive $75 in Outdoorsy credit once their vehicle departs on their first trip. As your referral, the renter will receive $50 off their first trip as well.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">If your Outdoorsy referral lists their own vehicle on Outdoorsy, you will receive $100 in Outdoorsy credit once their vehicle departs on its first trip.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400">Legal Terms and Conditions</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This Agreement contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to you becoming a referral partner in Outdoorsy&#8217;s Refer-a-Friend Program. The purpose of this Agreement is to structure the terms of the customer referral flow between you and the Outdoorsy. Please note that throughout this Agreement, &#8220;we,&#8221; &#8220;us,&#8221; and &#8220;our&#8221; refer to Outdoorsy, and &#8220;you,&#8221; &#8220;your,&#8221; and &#8220;yours&#8221; refer to the referrer. In accepting the Refer-a-Friend Terms and Conditions, you are also hereby accepting Outdoorsy’s standard </span><a href="https://www.outdoorsy.com/help/outdoorsy-terms-and-conditions"><span style="font-weight: 400">Terms and Conditions</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400">Referral Partner Obligations</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Outdoorsy reserves the right to terminate existing referral partnerships at any time if we determine your referral links are housed within sites or marketing collateral that:</span></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Promotes or houses illicit content (such as sexual, violent, discriminatory, and illegal content)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Incorporates any materials which infringe or assist others to infringe on any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights or to violate the law </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Includes &#8220;Outdoorsy&#8221; or variations or misspellings thereof in its domain name or any other unapproved marketing assets </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Is otherwise in any way unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable to us in our sole discretion. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">You may not create or design a site that in any way implies or explicitly misleads customers to believe you are Outdoorsy or any other affiliated business.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">In order to accurately track referral impressions, clicks, conversions, and other key metrics associated with your referral campaigns, it is the referrer’s sole responsibility to correctly use the referral link supplied by Outdoorsy. Outdoorsy is not liable for any commissions a partner may not receive as a result of improperly implemented referral links.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Outdoorsy reserves the right, at any time, to review the placement of your referral links and require that you make the necessary changes to remain compliant with the guidelines provided to you. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">It is the sole responsibility of the referral partner to follow all applicable IP laws that pertain to your site. Outdoorsy is not responsible should you use another party’s copyrighted material or other IP in violation of the law or any third party rights.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400">Outdoorsy Rights and Obligations</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Outdoorsy reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and your participation in the Outdoorsy Refer-a-Friend Program immediately and without notice to you should you commit fraud in your use of the Outdoorsy Referral Program or should you abuse it in any way. If such fraud or abuse is detected, Outdoorsy shall not be liable to you for any commissions for fraudulent sales.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400">Modification</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">We may modify any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. In such event, you will be notified. Modifications may include, but are not limited to, changes in the payment procedures and Outdoorsy&#8217;s Refer-a-Friend Program rules.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400">Payment</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Commissionable actions on Outdoorsy referrals are as follows:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400">For rental referrals, the referrer will receive $75 in Outdoorsy credits when a new referred renter’s vehicle departs on their first Outdoorsy trip.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400">For RV Owner referrals, the referrer will receive $100 commission when the owner’s vehicle departs on its first Outdoorsy trip.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Outdoorsy credits can be used toward future rentals or toward service fees that Outdoorsy vehicle owners pay when renting out their inventory.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400">Promotion Restrictions</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Certain forms of advertising are prohibited by Outdoorsy. Said advertising methods include:</span></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE)</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400"><span style="font-weight: 400">Bidding of Outdoorsy-branded terms on any SEM platform. The term “Outdoorsy” must be negative matched at the campaign level for said platforms</span></li>

<p>Calling all Outdoorsy hosts, charging for extra miles and generator hours just got easier.</p>



<p>Just look for the Record mileage and generator button on the Bookings page for the trip. This appears 2 days before the trip begins.</p>



<p>You’ll enter your mileage and / or generator readings twice.</p>



<ul><li>Enter your starting miles and / or generator hours before the trip begins.<ul><li>Take photos of your odometer and generator meter, as well.<br></li></ul></li><li>Enter your ending miles and / or generator hours when you get your vehicle back.<ul><li>Take photos again.</li></ul></li></ul>



<p>Once you enter the ending values, we’ll calculate any overage charges for you. You’ll see a breakdown of what the guest owes, based on the mileage and generator settings for your listing. At that point, you can decide whether to charge the guest or not.</p>



<p>To charge the guest, select the Process overage fee button. We’ll charge the guest’s payment method on file.</p>



<p>If you allow unlimited mileage and generator hours for a listing, you will not see anything about this new process on your Bookings pages.</p>



<p><strong>No more calculating overages yourself</strong></p>



<p>This new process gives you a fast way of seeing whether your guest used more miles or generator hours than what their rental included. And, an easy way to charge for it.</p>



<p>You can now stop using the Collect extra fees process to charge the guest’s security deposit for mileage and generator overages.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The new process also gives your guests better transparency into how many extra miles and / or hours they used. And, how much they paid for any overage.</p>



<p><strong>Reminders</strong></p>



<ul><li>You have 7 days after a trip ends to collect extra mileage and generator hour fees.<br></li><li>Charging for extra miles and generator hours is optional. If you decide not to charge the guest after seeing the overage, perhaps because it’s really low, simply ignore the Process overage fee button.</li></ul>



<ul><li>You can set both your per-day usage limits for mileage and generator and the cost for going over. To adjust your settings, go to your listing and:<br><ul><li>Select Pricing from the left-hand menu if you’re using the website.<br></li><li>Select Mileage charges or Generator charges from the menu if you’re using the app.</li></ul></li></ul>

<p>From the My account dropdown in the upper right, select Upcoming trips. </p>



<p>Select the trip you need to update the card for. Then, scroll down to and expand the Payment &amp; cancellation section.</p>



<p>Under Payment details, select Change payment method. Then, open the dropdown and select Add payment method.</p>



<p>Once you’ve added your card, any upcoming payments for the trip will go on your new card. The card will also be saved to your account.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Outdoorsy makes no representations or warranties whatsoever as to the ability to use the prize to book and rent any particular vehicle listed on the Outdoorsy.com platform. A winner making a booking on the Outdoorsy.com platform agrees that additional criteria may be imposed by the listed vehicle’s owner. If the booking value exceeds the US$1,000.00 credit, then the winner will be solely and completely responsible for covering the booking expenses beyond the prize amount. Such booking must purchase the maximum available insurance coverage offered through the Outdoorsy.com booking platform. Outdoorsy will not be responsible for covering additional trip costs on and/or off platform, including but not limited to, mileage overage fees, gas, campground reservations, airfare or any other costs and expenses. All bookings on the Outdoorsy.com platform must fully comply with the terms and conditions and other policies therein.</p>



<h3>Winner selection and notification</h3>



<p>As described in “How to Enter,” three potential winners will be selected each calendar week during the Contest Period. The three potential winners’ submissions will be published and displayed (anonymously) on multiple channels, including but not limited to paid social, other organic communities, and partner channels. Users of such channels may vote on their favorite submission, and the submission with the most votes will be selected as a potential winner.&nbsp; In the event of a tie, Outdoorsy in its sole discretion may select the winner. The potential winner will be notified via email addresses provided on the submission. In order to receive the prize, the potential winner must return email communications with Outdoorsy’s team to set the delivery conditions of the prize. If the potential winner fails to give respond to the email within 14 days or is found to be, in Outdoorsy’s sole discretion, ineligible or in violation of these Official Rules, such potential winner and his/her entry will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.&nbsp; Outdoorsy may request paperwork that the potential winner will be required to complete in order to be awarded the prize (including, but not limited to, a publicity release, tax documentation, drivers license information, evidence of insurability, and/or liability release). The receipt of the prize offered in this Contest by the potential winner is conditional upon compliance with these Official Rules and any and all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.</p>



<h4>General terms</h4>



<p>Decisions made by Outdoorsy are final and binding in all matters, including interpretation of these Official Rules and awarding of the prize. Entrants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay, or misdirection of Contest materials submitted to Outdoorsy. Outdoorsy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest, or any part of it, if any virus, bugs, other technical failures, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond Outdoorsy’s control impair the administration, security, integrity, or proper functioning of the Contest, as determined by Outdoorsy in its sole discretion. Outdoorsy in its sole discretion reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, Outdoorsy reserves the right to seek damages from such persons to the fullest extent permitted by law. <h4>Release and indemnification</h4>



<p>By participating in the Contest, you agree to release from liability and hold harmless Outdoorsy and its parent company, affiliates, and related companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or the receipt or use or misuse of any prize, or from any trip booked or taken using the prize. Entrants agree to indemnify the Released Parties and any other companies associated with the Contest, including any vendors or marketing agencies, and any third parties who have provided prizing. The indemnity covers all claims made not only by potential winners, but also by anyone participating in the Contest. The indemnity covers both claims arising out of the Contest itself, and claims arising from any use of the prizes.</p>



<h4>Limitation of liability</h4>



<p>Outdoorsy is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing errors, or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, delays, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (4) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, stolen, misdirected, or postage-due entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize, or from any trip booked or taken using the prize. This includes such failures that might result in more winners than planned are issued.</p>



<h4>Disputes</h4>



<p>This Contest is governed by the laws of the United States and State of Texas without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Contest, entrant agrees that any and all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively and solely before a state or federal court located in Austin, Texas. Further, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.</p>
