In 1985, restoration of the house began, and it wasn't until 1989 that the homestead was fully restored and opened to the public for tours. The Huble Homestead is one of the oldest buildings on its original land within British Columbia. The house is even furnished with era-appropriate furnishings, artifacts, and photographs of the Huble family.
