We all know how this conversation goes. The real person to blame is actually not a person at all—it’s your faulty internet service provider filtering system.

Consider this your primer on how to get around the system and make sure you never miss an important email from RV renters or owners with announcements, tips and tricks, news, promo codes, payout information, and more. First thing’s first: Be sure to add support@outdoorsy.com and support@outdoorsy.co (yeah, that’s .com and .co) to your email contacts list.

Mark email as not spam

If an email was incorrectly marked as spam, follow the steps below to remove it from the spam folder.

Open your Gmail account. Realize that your Outdoorsy emails are going to spam. Recover from shock.
In the left-hand sidebar, tap Menu > Spam.
Select the message from Outdoorsy that isn’t spam.
Tap Not spam.

Add Outdoorsy to your contacts

You can save names, email addresses, phone numbers, and more in Google Contacts.Contacts saved to your Google Account will sync with Google Contacts and all your Android devices.

On your computer, go to Contacts.
In the bottom right, click Create contact.
Enter the contact’s information.
Click Save.

Yahoo mail

Mark email as not spam

Click on the Spam folder.
Select the email.
Click Not Spam at the top of the page.
The email will return to your Inbox.

Add Outdoorsy to your contacts

Click on the gear menu.
Click on Settings, then Filters.
Click Add and create a filter that matches @ in the sender and delivers the messages to Inbox.
Click Save.
Make sure that the new rule is at the bottom of the list.

Hotmail, MSN and Outlook.com

Mark email as not spam

Sign in to your Outlook.com / Hotmail.com account
Click the “Junk” folder on the left pane.
Check to see if the wanted emails are in this folder.
If you see any messages that should have been delivered to the Inbox folder, click the box on the left of each message to put a check mark and then click the “Not Junk” button.

How to add us to your Safe senders list

In your Outlook.com Inbox, click the cog icon beside your Profile name.
Click “Options.”
Under Junk email, click “Safe senders.”
Click “Safe Senders.”
In the text box, type in the email address or domain you’d like to always receive email from, then click “Add to list >>”.

AOL and Verizon Mail

Mark email as not spam

Click “Spam” in the mail folders list on the left side of your mailbox.
Select the spam email you want to recover. If you’re using AOL Desktop, click the email’s line in the messages list. If you’re using AOL Webmail, click the check box to the left of the email to select it.
Click “This Is Not Spam” in AOL Desktop or “Not Spam” in AOL Webmail. Return to your inbox where you will find your restored message.

Add Outdoorsy to your contacts

To whitelist a contact in your AOL mailbox:

Click Contacts on the left navigation bar of your inbox screen.
Click New Contact.icon on the top bar
Complete the required fields.
Click the Add Contact button at the bottom.
