I first want to mention how excellent of a host, Mike is. He is friendly and responded promptly to all communications. Mike provided very helpful info and was proactive with communications before and up to our pickup day to ensure our trip was going to be great. Upon pickup, he provided a nice overview of the RV, features, supplies, hook-up procedures, setup, etc. and made it a very comfortable experience overall. This trailer was comfortable and the perfect size for 2. It had all the amenities that we needed for a weekend trip slightly off road. We did look at some of the other smaller tear drop models and those are great too, but this model provided a little more interior height and comfort while still having a fairly low footprint, weight, overall interior height and great ground clearance for off road/dispersed terrain. It has a comfortable bed w fresh linens provided and was well stocked with general camping supplies (dish ware, cups, etc.). It offered a lot of convenient features, including bluetooth stereo, USB chargers, rooftop fan & lights (convenient battery w solar charging for off-grid use), small fridge. The rooftop fan & windows were great for ventilation & cooling (we did not opt for the generator for AC and we're fine where we went). We mostly cooked over a the campfire, so we didn't need the portable gas grill provided, or the electric microwave which would require the optional generator. We did not fill up the onboard water tank, but kind of wish we did, so we could use the sink in the back kitchenette area. It may have added some weight, but you may not need the full tank. You can also just use your own water from a bottle/jug w the sink too.It handled well on the roads, both paved streets, highways, mountain passes and dirt backroads, being pulled easily by a 5th gen 4Runner (V6). Fairly lightweight, under 2000 lbs. and sometimes you barely know you're pulling it. This size is great for both the experienced hauler or a newbie getting into hauling w an RV.Set up was nice & easy w the powered hitch lift and the manual jack stabilizers in the back.I definitely recommend renting this RV from Mike for any camping trip, but especially if you just want something small, convenient and capable that can be pulled by a variety of standard size vehicles.
