About Jeffrey Vaughn
Hello Renters! I am Jack Vaughn, the co-partner of Prestige Worldwide Camping and son of Jeffrey Vaughn! In early 2020, we decided to go camping for a weekend. We rented from Outdoorsy, and went to Moab, Utah. The experience was amazing, so we decided to start a business of our own. We loved the convenience Outdoorsy provided us with our experience, so we decided to start our business using their platform. As we searched for a good first trailer, we stumbled upon a custom-built teardrop and knew that that was the perfect fit. This trailer soon became a father-son project. After a successful year of renting, we used the money made to invest in forming a business. After shuffling around trailers, seeing what works best in the market, we have established a solid lineup of trailers! We hope to expand this business every year, and grow our fleet of trailers. This was a good rig and the hosts were super easy to work with. My kid loved the bunk beds and the queen bed was comfortable. Main thing keeping me from giving five stars was the fridge never seemed to get cold after two days of running.

Fletcher, thank you for the review, glad the trailer worked well for your family. I am sorry to hear about the fridge issues, but we were unaware of your trouble until this review, so we were unable to help troubleshoot the fridge with you while you were on your trip! Like we discussed on checkout, we provide coolers to our short term rentals to utilize as the main cooling source. Dometic, the RV fridge manufacturer, states such fridges take 8-12 hours to cool down, assuming it is on the correct setting, and properly setup. Wish we could have known about this issue to help you out during your trip. Otherwise, glad you had a great trip, and we appreciated working with you.

What an amazing experience. Jack was incredibly helpful from the moment we looked at the posting for the rental to the day we dropped it off. It really comes complete with everything you need. We had never used a trailer before and Jack provided very helpful videos. We had plenty of room, kids loved the bunk beds and it was very clean. We will absolutely rent from Jeff again!

What an amazing experience. The van was perfectly set up with no hidden issues or problems. We flew into SLC where we were met with the van ready to go. Drop off was just as easy. 10/10 would recommend!

Prestige Worldwide Camping were so wonderful to work with! They’re responsive, accommodating, provided incredible service, and the 20BHS travel trailer we rented almost makes me wonder if we need to buy one. Like, why, when it comes fully ready with all the big things (propane, water, generator) and little things (bug spray, utensils, Yeti coffee mugs). They’ve covered it all. No need to dump or fill anything, winterize or store. The trailer smelled good, clean, and everything is in great order. For a small fee, they’ll even pick up/drop off for you. You cannot beat it! Based off our experience, I’ll bet whatever you rent from Prestige Worldwide Camping will be immaculate. Thanks, guys! We’ll catch you at the next Catalina Wine Mixer!

We had an awesome experience with prestige world camping. So easy to work with. They were extremely accommodating and communication was superb. We took the trailer off road in blm land and we’re so impressed with how it handled the terrain. The solar panels worked amazing. We didn’t need a generator and we ran the heater all night. I will 100% rent from this company again.

This was our first camping adventure and I’m so thankful we found outdoorsy and Jeffery Vaughn. He was extremely helpful and responsive to all the questions we had before the trip. The pickup and drop off process was quick and easy.
As far as the van it literally had everything we needed for our 10 day adventure. It drove well and handled the boondocking roads with ease. The bed was super comfortable, plenty of storage for our food and the fridge was ice cold.
I would highly recommend this rental and we are already planning out our next trip with “Vinny the van”

Owner was very prompt and great to work with. Refrigerator didn’t work (running on propane) during our trip. Wasted a fair amount of food that we couldn’t keep cold. Unfortunate.

Jason, we are sorry about your frustrations with the refrigerator on this trailer. As we learned you did not have any electrical hookups with the trailer, we accommodated your trip by providing remedies that would work best for you dry camping. We walked you through that the three way refrigerator on this unit cools the strongest when it is plugged in, as it is an upgraded, higher end, Dometic Refrigerator. Because we knew you did not have hookups, I walked you through our Firman 3500W Dual Fuel Generator, that will efficiently run and cool the fridge very well. We provide this generator at no additional cost, and we do not charge for hours. We provide it full of gas, an extra gas can, and two propane tanks you can use, free of charge. For a weekend rental, you could have ran the fridge off the generator and it would have cooled very well. We told you that the fridge does not cool on propane, however, the propane setting is there to keep it cold. Additionally, we provide a large, top of the line cooler with this unit, as we have learned that renters who dry camp always prefer to use coolers than attempting to run a fridge off two 12V batteries. Granted, the fridge likely did not perform up to standards during your reservation, as we noticed upon return that the thermistor, what controls the temperature of the fridge was dislodged, so it was reading the fridge at a higher temperature than it actually was at. Unfortunately, we did not hear about this issue until return of the RV, or we would have gladly troubleshooted with you. Sorry you had a negative experience with our fridge, but Prestige Worldwide Camping feels we provided several accommodations for the situation you faced.
