The entire booking process with the owner was pleasant and seamless. They are a very warm and helpful couple. They mentioned there were damages done from the previous renters and that they went out of their way to not cancel our rent dates, which was very nice. The RV itself is decent, taking into account that it's a 20 year old RV.I would have given them 5 stars if my post-return experience was as nice as my pre-trip experience. A few pointers:1) take timestamped pictures of EVERYTHING before pickup and after return. For things like sewage tanks, take timestamped pictures/videos of emptying the tanks. Otherwise you may be charged the $250 and it will be your word against the owners'.
2) Clean everything meticulously. We were charged "deep cleaning" fees despite having swept and mopped everything and removing all garbage, because we missed sweeping up a few kibbles on the washroom floor for our dogs. Take pictures of how the RV was returned or be prepared to pay for cleaning fees even if you leave the littlest of crumbs that should technically get picked up during basic cleaning and sanitizing between rentals by the owner.
3) We were charged $100+ for little "bubbles" on the stove top cover. We couldn't refute the charges because we didn't take before pictures of that's how it was received.
4) The built-in speedometer doesn't work. The external Garmin speedometer kept losing connection and for about 30-40% of the trip, we didn't know how fast we were driving which was very concerning and dangerous. I hope this has been fixed.
5) There's a wet patch (see picture) on the roof that became more prominent when it was raining. My brother who has asthma was having slight breathing issues so if you have respiratory problems, you may want to look into this beforehand.
6) Be careful with the shower door. It was not user friendly and was broken and we couldn't use is for the entire 8 days of our trip.
7) If you use the inflatable double bed, there's no space for the sofa bed to be pulled out. As a result, it will sleep 5 adults, not 6.Overall it was a pleasant experience, however, it left a bitter taste given we were charged extra unfairly and it was an expensive learning. Other than that, I would highly recommend renting from Anita and Abu.

Bushra - It was a pleasure meeting you and your family as well. Although we strive for a 5 star review and to give our clients the best experience, unfortunately the unsanitary condition you brought back our RV was unacceptable. You had left us no choice but to charge you the additional cleaning fee. We make sure to provide our RV spotless to provide our renters the clean experience, in return all we ask to bring our RV back in similar condition. We are fair people and would never charge a cleaning fee for crums! Please find reasons below as to why you were charged the additional cleaning fee as you claim were unfair.
1. Left behind stinky socks and dirty underwear. In addition you had admitted to storing dirty clothes in our washer (Photos are available and text msg you shared)
2. Toilet had dry poop smear + period stains. (Photos are available)
3. Shower was covered with dirt, mud and black stain (Photos are available)
4. The floor as claimed were never cleaned upon return crumbs were not the issue here! (Photos are available!)Reason for charging Dump fee:
1. Black tank was full the indicator light was on red. It’s never pleasant to dump someone else's waste. (Photos are available)Other items to mention:
1. Brought back RV damaged, admittedly ran over a huge rock breaking generator muffler and damaged the RV muffler and causing other damages
2. Brought back Broken shower door. Seemed like the shower door was yanked had and pulled off the hinges (We had advised you to pull up 1st then pull as it’s a shower door in the RV not a regular shower door)
3. The stove top cover was bubbled as someone left the burner on and closed the cover (time stamped photos provided)We have spent many hrs driving back and forth to get the damages fixed and make it safe for the next renters (we didn't charge our time, or the gas which costs a fortune!). All photos were time stamped and indicated before and after proof. We ask all renters to take before images and make sure to take after images as well. The agency as well as myself worked with you to be fair and based on the proof and time stamped photos it was determined that these were fair charges.I would advise you if you ever rent another RV to keep in mind that this is someone's property and it should be treated with respect, and not a dump station. we spend a lot of time, money and effort to provide you with the best and tip top shaped machine and we understand crumbs, and messy happens when camping. Unfortunately in your case there was a lot more than crumbs!Wish you all the best.Regards,
Anita
