About Kenneth and Brittany Johnson

We decided to offer up our family's Class C for the enjoyment of others rather than keeping it in storage. Our schedules sadly don't allow us to camp as much as we would like these days, so we're sharing our rig to give others the chance of enjoying the outdoors.

We rented Gus for 5 days and it was the best experience we have ever had in an RV. Kenneth has Gus fully stocked and then some! The RV was easy to drive, comfortable, and the beds were perfect for the amount of people we had. We will be booking this again!!

Kenneth and Brittany’s answer

Thank you so much for positive feedback Ian. We truly try to have everything needed to setup Gus and then some. I am sorry I couldn't make your next reservation possible but the next one we will.

Only had two problems. The oven dose not light. The pilot is not working so I had to get down on the floor to light it with a match. I was told about that but it needs to be fixed. And we had trouble with the black water. On our thread day when we flushed the toilet water would bubble up in the shower and then go down. Yes flush toilet water bubble up in shower. After I routed toilet it all drained. Miner the sterling was a touch lose. But we had a great time!à

Kenneth and Brittany’s answer

Thanks for the feedback Joe. When you did your walkthough we discussed the oven and how to drain the tanks. This particular oven will always have to be lite. I showed you where the matches were and instructions how to lite it. The black tank and the grey tanks are separate therefore you will never see toilet water in the shower. I explained this to you over the phone. The toilet and the bathroom sink drains into the black tank, while the shower and the kitchen sink drains into the grey tank. They are no way connected, so no bubbling could happen. You also left the black tank in the open position all night long. This is the reason why you had issues with the toilet. You need a lot of water in the black tank to keep the toilet paper from piling up inside the tank.

Kenny and Brittany were extremely helpful hosts. The RV was exactly as described and made for an awesome weekend of camping. The added benefit of having the Blackstone grill on the rig was a huge plus. Awesome experience overall.

We had 2 tires blow out, went to NY camping, it rained and was very cold. The heater didn't work, had no wood to level the camper after using the jacks. There was a leaking line going to the toilet. Outside shower didn't work, the main power plug for electric was burnt and melted around the prongs. The generator quit half way home. There were leaks coming in and around the slidouts. The fuse for the GFI in bathroom kept blowing. The 1st tire (inside dually on passenger side) blew and we weren't but 5 hrs into our trip, spent 4 1/2 hours on the side of 95N waiting. The 2nd tire (inside dually on driver's side blew on our way home. We were but an hour away from home. Kenny told he just had his 32 ft., 2018 Freedom Elite, made by Thor serviced..... Don't think so, not with all the issues we had. And then tried to tell me I was responsible for the tires. Again- don't think so.
He put claim in for all of the 750.00 deposit. Claiming all of it for a tire and a few scrapes on one of the compartment doors.
What about the other tire? What about the the fact we froze our asses off because the furnace didn't work, I purchased the insurance package to the tune of over 500.00. I'm glad I was able to help him figure out all the issues with his camper, but I will not be renting from him again.

Kenneth and Brittany’s answer

Carol,
We are again very sorry for the issues that arose during your trip. We do indeed have the RV fully serviced every 90 days per proper care standards. We are required to report this information to the platform or we would not be actively listed. You were informed at pickup that the outdoor shower would not be available for your trip. Though if it was truly as cold as you claim, it is unlikely that you would have needed it.

This RV was wonderful! The RV was in great shape, and everything worked perfectly. The beds were the most comfortable of any RV we have rented. Kenny and Brittany were great to work with. They explained everything in great detail. I highly recommend this RV!

We had a great time traveling in the RV. It was very comfortable and spacious. We had no issues or concerns with the RV. Kenny and Brittany were available and replied fast when they were needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others or rent again!
