About John Plumb's RV rentals
We are John and Joy. We have 5 daughters and love the family camping experience. After starting with tent camping, we upgraded to a large travel trailer and haven’t looked back! We purchased this camper as a rental only camper so other large families will have the opportunity to make camping memories in comfort and convenience.

As first time campers, this rental was absolutely perfect! Hosts have thought of absolutely everything you could need. John was great with communicating before and during our trip. We can’t wait for our next trip. We will absolutely be renting again!

Lauren was amazing to work with. Communication was super easy and always with a fast response. Being first time campers, she took the time to ask appropriate questions prior to the rental to help ensure a trouble- free vacation. She took great care of our camper and left it clean and damage free. We would definitely love to host her again. She was also so kind to speak highly of our camper and us to other campers in the campground who had rental issues with other hosts and gave recommendations for them to book their next trip with us. We really appreciate the referrals!

John and Joy were great to work with, honest and very helpful to first time campers. The process was so much easier than expected. Our rental was delivered to the Garrett Coliseum for our family to use as a hub during the annual rodeo. They handled everything with expert knowledge and kindness. It was a great decision and experience. The camper is in perfect condition and provides everything you need except bedding and towels. This was not a problem for us and actually a preference. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting or needing a camper to use the Plumb’s Prowler. Thank you John and Joy!

Linwood was so very easy to work with. He stayed in constant communication and would respond to texts or calls right away. He left the camper very clean and damage free. His rental occurred during a line of storms that produced tornados in many counties in Alabama. He asked all the appropriate questions regarding if the storms do damage the camper. He was very kind and checked on my family as he knew a tornado was close to my home. We are so glad that this was a great camping experience and look forward to hosting his next rodeo.

This was our first time renting on Outdoorsy. The experience couldn’t have been better. John and Joy were tremendous to work with and very responsive. The camper was nice and clean with all of the necessary accessories. The setup and check out was seamless. We look forward to our next rental with John.

John was a great host and showed us all we needed to know. The camper was clean, well appointed and spacious. I liked the fact there was a separate door to the bathroom from the outside. I highly recommend renting this camper!

Timothy was such a great communicator and was easy to get in touch with. He was very knowledgeable about campers so it was a super smooth hand off. The camper was incredibly clean when it was returned and had no damage. He and his family took great care and we would host him again anytime.

I had a challenging experience but it proved to be a great experience because of John and Joy the owners of the RV. They stayed in touch during the challenge and offered alternates for taking care of the challenge. We were fortunate (Josh, Service Manager) at Bama RV in Opelika, Al agreed to look at the problem on short notice and was able to repair the issue. Once John knew where I carried the RV, he made contact with Josh and made payment arrangements. All I had to do was pick up the trailer. John was apologetic for the inconvenience but I assured him I was fine because I’ve reached the point in life where I realize, anything made by man can and will break and your option should not be one of anger but one of gratitude for the opportunity to experience the beauty and love found in the hearts of God’s Children. LIFE happens; it’s up to us choose how we respond! Thank you John, Joy and (Josh) for a great experience!!! AJ and family

Artis was a great customer who maintained a fantastic attitude even after a set back with the camper. The fresh water line from the holding tank developed a leak and it required it being repaired. Artis was super patient and kept in constant contact. He returned the camper clean and damage free. Although as hosts we never want to inconvenience the renter with problems, he was the type of renter that new that things happen sometime but made the best of it. We would def rent to him again.
