We are Air Force veterans and life long campers. After many years of rained out tent camping trips, flash floods, deflated air mattresses and back problems, we decided to purchase our first camper in 2017. Not sure if we were going to love RV life, we bought a 1990's camper with no slides and used it for 2 years. We loved everything about the experience but wanted a little more room to move around. In the first camper, we had to ask permission to exit the bathroom if someone was cooking. Camping with this gave us plenty of time to think about the kind of things we really wanted in a camper. Fast forward to 2019 when we purchased a year old travel trailer with 3 slides. What a difference! We didn't have to disassemble the front of our camper to make the bed! Our first venture was to the Black Hills of South Dakota for 2 weeks where we saw some of the most beautiful scenery ever. We enjoy exploring new areas and make use of Corp grounds and State Parks. Our travel companion Sissy, a 13 year old terrier mix is just as excited as we are to pull out for our next big adventure. Shortly thereafter, we were dealt life-altering news that forced my husband into early retirement and disability. We have much more time to travel now and have decided to rent this out for a little extra income when we are not traveling. We have 4 grandchildren and are looking forward to taking them on trips when they are a little older. Our 2 grown children are both asking where this luxury was when they were growing up and we were pitching tents!
