About Joseph and Joi's RV rentals
Hi I'm Joi and my husband is Joe. We never thought we were the "type" that would like Rving, but boy were we suprised! We never knew that community existed until we experienced it for ourselves! We would take a vacation periodically but we always had to come home in a few days because of our 2 dogs! We couldn't take them with us. So we decided to take an RV and bring the dogs, the grandkids, and anyone whom wanted to join us and we had the best time! Campgrounds have successfully figured out what Rv families want and need. We felt so welcomed. Now we want to share our experience with others! We have adopted a new motto for our RVing experiences....we are now "Collecting Memories, Not Things". We now have 3 RVs....a Coachmen A class and a Fleetwood Jamboree Searcher C class, and our newest edition 2015 Damon Daybreak A class! You must try it!

This was our first RV trip and it was great. We were very satisfied with this unit. The hosts were responsive to our questions and we appreciated their flexibility on the pick up/drop times to accommodate our schedule. Joi gave us a thorough orientation at pick up. The RV was comfortable and overall tidy - though it would have been nicer if it could have been a bit cleaner especially with less pet hair in it at pick up. There was some minor wear and tear but otherwise, there was plenty of storage space, all key hoses/lines supplied and all appliances/mechanics worked without issue. The actual mileage is higher than in the posted photo but is still pretty low. Overall, based on our experience, another family RV trip is definitely somewhere in our future and we'd be happy to rent from them again.

Motorhome operated well, but had a funny odor. Promised sheets and pillow cases were missing. Grey water was full after one shower, must not have been emptied. Cleaning charges and dumping fee were mentioned in the listing but not itemized ahead of time and were excessive at $161.00 plus we paid a $45.00 for a pet fee that was listed in the contract. That is a lot to pay for cleaning of a unit that was returned dumped and clean.

Every rental is required to be cleaned and dumped. It is in the description rules. The pet fee is not a cleaning fee. All charges are spelled out before hand please read your contract.

This review is not so much about the RV as it is the people we rented it from. During the inspection of the RV outside I noticed the windshield was loaded with bugs. She said she would have had to get the big ladder out, so she didn't get it done. I also noticed that there was no step stand. She said she had never used one. She said there was a dish service for 6, a coffee maker, & others. There was only a 1/2 tank of fresh water, and only 1/2 tank of gas which is not how it should be. The 1st night we had it, my husband messaged them stating concern about of possible leak in the system somewhere because the water pump was running on even though we were not using any water at that time, that the indicator lights for the water system were not functioning correctly, and that the windshield was filthy. He also sent pictures of the windshield, the leaking area under the RV, and of the water system indicator light panel. They responded by saying they had had the leak looked at and nothing wrong was found, that the indicator lights were fine, and they didn't understand about the windshield. During loading the RV that night, I found that the bdrm. light was not working. The first morning I found the coffee pot to be filthy with grounds and dried coffee, a sticky can opener, only 3 tsps., 4 forks, & 3 coffee cups that where also very dirty. All needing to be cleaned before using them. Later that morning I discovered that the bthrm exhaust fan was not working. The 2nd morning we awoke to a musty/moldy smell in the bdrm along with a very wet carpet. We immediately tried to contact them, but it wasn't until we contacted Outdoorsy that they finally responded. We were not able to use the water the first 2 days because if we used the pump, more water would leak onto the carpet. Late the following afternoon a man came to fix it. We later learned that the leak occurred because the RV had not been properly winterized. We tried to dry the carpet, and drive the smell away be aiming a large fan at the carpet, but it really didn't work well. The last day we had the RV the steps broke as my husband exited it. The repair for this should have been roughly $43 for the part, and a nominal fee for labor. Instead it cost us more than $670 of our $1000 deposit. We tried to talk with them regarding the amount being charged, but there was no reasoning with them. They actually hung up during the conversation. All these issues, and events really say something about these people and their concern for their renters. Rent at your own risk, or be sure to CHECK EVERYTHING before you pull out of their driveway!!!

We are first time RV renters and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Since we are new to the RV world, we took every experience and learning curve as positive. We learned a great deal with our RV adventure and Joi and Joseph certainly made everything worthwhile. They were very patient and understanding with our learning curve and were always very helpful, pleasant, understanding, and accomodating to our questions. I will definitely recommend Joi and Joseph’s RV. You can rent an RV from anyone; but you won’t have Joi and Joseph there alongside you on your adventure. For first time RV renters, we are blessed to have Joi and Joseph along with us.

We had a great experience with Outdoorsy and renting from Joseph & Joi. They are very friendly, helpful and informative. The RV was clean and we had no issues. I would recommend renting Joseph & Joi's RV.

Working with Joi and Joseph was a pleasure. Communication was prompt and when I had questions, they provided good information. I felt the RV was a good value. Even though it is a 2006 model, it has low miles and I felt confident that I would not have any mechanical issues on our long trip. I would highly recommend Joi and Joseph to RV renters.
