We had the absolute BEST time in the VANSKI!!! I was nervous going into this as first time renters without a ton of RV knowledge...From my first contact with Allison, my mind was immediately put at ease. She is incredibly sweet, helpful, and responsive! She helped us with trip planning, picking up and stocking groceries we ordered in advance, and even picked us up/dropped us off at the train station. The van is stocked for all your adventure needs! Bring your clothes and food and you are set. My family of 3 was in the Van for 5 mostly rainy days in October. A few highlights below!
-Easy to drive and park.
-Takes regular gas (as Californians coming from nearly $7/gallon, we were thrilled with the cost of gas)
- Easy to use/understand touchscreens for power, lights, awning, and temperature control.
- Large screen for navigating.
- We never had to plug in. Even with it being chilly (40's at night) and running heat/fridge, we never got below 80% battery. Every day it was fully charged again by the time we got to our next destination.
- Easy insulated window coverings that attach with magnets
- Cozy beds!
- Table can be used by kids for projects while driving. We made this cross country trip for a wedding in New Hampshire. We had debated doing a rental car and hotels instead. We are SO happy we went the VANSKI! The van allowed us to go out and play in the rain. We would return to the van, change out of our wet clothes, turn on the heater, and make hot chocolate, If we had been in a rental car, soggy and headed to another hotel, we would have been miserable. We joined Harvest Hosts and found some wonderful places to stay (hello you pick apple orchard with fresh donuts, ocean view on Bailey's Island, and the great Schooner Mini Golf)! We adventured to the Kancamagus Highway for fall colours, the Flume Gorge, the Cog train up Mt Washington, Maine Wildlife Park, Portland, and Old Orchard Beach.Only con, you will now be spending your time figuring out how you can own your own VANSKI. My daughter just asked when we can go back...not soon enough!
