RecommendationsIf you are new to RV camping, I suggest full-hookup RV camping but we have done 2~3 days boondocking if you don't need AC or microwave. Other things to noteThis is our beloved personal trailer and we hope you enjoy it. Please help keep it clean.

Hi we are a family of three. We owned our Airstream trailer for about a year and travel around the SF Bay area most of the time with our 6-year-old boy. Recently we towed our trailer all the way to Portland Oregon and enjoyed the trip to Bend/Crater Lake. It was our longest trip with the trailer and we loved it. Q.Does the fridge work well without shore power? How many days can it run on battery?
A.
The fridge works well without power hookup. It runs on 12v. The firdge works even while you are driving. The trailer has solar panel that charges during the day time but it will depend on how much sun and how much electricity you will use. We tried a few days without electricity hookup and there was no issue.
