1Owner was never present during pick up or drop off. Barely answered my text messages and acted like I was an inconvenience when he did. Told him about the broken windshield and he never even responded untill I complained after my trip. Phone # was answering as a none working number. Did not go over any (important details) and by the time I had questions about issues I was in a park and out of service. The list goes on and on. Terrible customer experience and that is not even considering all the issues. Here we go… - Huge crack across windshield (dangerous and I think illegal? Sucks when your driving in beautiful views with a crack completely across the front. Thought it would break with every bump in the road. -said Refrigerator was acting up but should be fine, provides cooler (I had paid for own ice $27 unexpected expense). Fridge was not fine at 59 degrees I had to move food to cooler to keep from going bad. At 9pm was difficult to find ice in park: And some food was too late am did spoil. (unexpected expense) - No utensils, cooking utensils (spatula), or handles for any of the pots( very difficult to use without burning myself?). After trip he explain where utensils were (hidden and if he was at pickup and explained it would not have been a problem.but still no pot handles.) - No dish soap or sponge, not sure how he’d like me to clean the dishes. (Sponge was hidden with Utensils but still no soap. Again need to know info but wasn’t there to explain.) - Side window screen was broken - Bed was much smaller than expected after telling owner I’m 6’3. Said id be comfortable. Wasn’t - Wiper fluid on drivers side would not touch window when sprayed. Had to wipe by hand, afraid of breaking windshield even more. - Owner was not at pickup or drop off. Not responsive also. After letting him know about the windshield I never heard from him again until I complained at drop off. I truly feel taken advantage of. I can’t prove it but I think he just topped of the gas enough to look full. To my destination cost $48 to top of tank. Coming back (I fill to the top at the exact same station before leaving) it cost me $25. Again, a scammer at his finest. Any reviews left by others must have been friends or this guy has just lost interest in taking care of patrons and looks at this as an easy hustle. And that’s how I feel. Hustled. I hope Outdoorsy can make this right and nobody experiences what I went through.

5We rented Ted’s van for our trip to Yellowstone and it did not disappoint. It was so convenient having everything we needed with us no matter where we were. The solar set up and dometic fridge were amazing and allowed us to have power for the entire trip. The only thing to be aware of is that a van full size bed is a little shorter than your average full size bed at home. We made it work, but as two tall people it was a tight sleeping setup. Overall this van was perfect for our trip and I would highly recommend renting it out to explore Montana & Wyoming. Thanks Ted!
