A Ford Focus proudly donated its heart to re-power this German beast for countless modern improvements. Other upgrades such as new foam and fabric on both beds, and a side awning make for comfy living quarters. All the mechanical systems have also upgraded such as transmission, brakes, suspension, tires etc.
All of our vans come pre-stocked with the following essentials:
- 2 Camp chairs, fire starter, Leatherman tool, Lantern, lighters and matches, Hammock.
-Dishes and utensils for 4ppl, Pots and Pans, French Press, knives, spatulas, bottle opener, can opener, the works. Basically everything you need to throw a meal together down to the salt pepper and olive oil.
-Cleaning basics: Trash bags, zip lokc bags, dish sponge, dish soap, rags, paper towels, toilet papaer, sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer.
-Bedding is optional. Sleeping bags, sheets and pillows can be provided at no cost.

This 30 year old van does NOT have Air Conditioning. The fridge is nothing to write home about either. It makes for great dry food storage though and can be used to refridgerate while at camp and plugged in to shore power. A cooler of the size you need will be provided and we have many to pick from. This has worked well for us even on longer 2 week trips where ice is readily accessible.
Other things to note
Please treat this vintage classic as your own. We take great pride in keeping them on the road in the best condition possible and we count on our guests to help up do so by being gentle in their operation. Wether it's driving, or using the features while at camp. Open and close cabinet doors carefully, pay close attention when operating the Pop-top to avoid damaging the tent fabric. In general, keep in mind this is a 30 year old vehicle with no AC and treat it as such. You will get a thorough walk-through and instruction on how to use everything when you pick it up.
Absolutely NO Smoking of any kind, and No Festivals or Tailgating events. Pets are welcome, but we recommend you protect the seats, and thoroughly clean the interior prior to your return in order to aviod any extra cleaning fees. We will inspect for pet stains, fur, and damage before releasing deposits.
