We had the best time in Nic's Airstream Basecamp 20X! It came with soft and comfortable bedding, all the kitchen utensils we needed, and fresh towels. The Airstream was clean and exactly as described. We had Nic deliver the airstream to our campsite and he set everything up for us. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This was overall an excellent experience and we highly recommend this Airstream! If you are looking for the perfect rental in Bend, look no further.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are higly flexible in pickup and drop off! Same for delivery. Please reach out if you have any special requests/inquiries for delivery, pickup and drop off!

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Power! Renting the add-on solar generator and panel is a GREAT way to get extra power for all your electronics. It's $20 per day! Save Water! Doing dishes SUCKS and it sucks up your FRESH water and fills the grey tank FAST! We HIGHLY suggest bamboo compostable dinnerware. And take a [short!] outdoor shower! Solar! Park the Basecamp in a place that will get a few hours of sunlight for solar charge to the Basecamp’s batteries.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric is 30amp hookup [supplied] or 120v outlet [extension cord supplied] City water hookup for fresh water with hose [supplied]. Grey and Black tank dump line can be hooked up and connected to the sewer. However, you only dump when the tanks are getting full. You need some back pressure for the tanks to empty! A detailed walk through and an operations manual will be available with more details and instructions.

Q.What type of car/truck do you need to tow this trailer? What are the hitch requirements?
A.
• Vehicle! Tow Vehicle must be able to tow the DRY WEIGHT of the Basecamp, which is 3,500 pounds. Basecamp's WET WEIGHT is 4,300 pounds [that's the Basecamp's GVWR] . The tounge weight is 535 pounds. • Your vehicle MUST have an Electric Brake Controler! • Your Tow Vehicle and Basecamp when hitched together must be reasonably level. The hitch height is ~22 and 3/4 inches. *Weight distribution hitch is available at NO EXTRA COST TO YOU. -IF IN DOUBT, reach out. OR have us Deliver it!
