Yellowstone Country Camping Company Cozy R-Pod

Travel trailerBozeman,, MT
Sleeps 4
20 ft. long

The perfect size, fully equipped R-Pod with custom camping equipment options, is easy to pull (3000 lbs) with a sway hitch and optional bike rack. Propane/electric fridge with gas range. Bathroom with shower, solar battery feed, and dining area. Electric awning with support poles.Insider TipsThis is not a teardrop camper. We are camping experts, we lived on the road in another camper/van for over three years. We no longer travel for work so we bought this R-Pod for recreation. We did our research. Any longer and it's a pain to deal with. Any shorter and there isn't enough room to hang out inside during bad weather. Enough bells and whistles to provide comfort and the fun of setting up, but no overwhelming jacks or unnecessary moving parts. The shower works great and has hardly been used, but we recommend using the campground showers (way less hassle). We empty the gray and black tanks for you. So depending on the length of your trip, you will not need to deal with that (it is not much fun).We provide a sway hitch and can assist you with the initial hookup. We will email you an instructional video of all the features and how to use them a week before your rental. We equip the R-Pod with the basics, we have lots of gear if you need anything else, but we try to not overload/clutter your experience. You can pull this with a midsized SUV, we pull it with a Toyota 4-Runner, but it is too heavy (in our opinion) for a Subaru or Rav 4 type vehicle. What's included• 2-4 Camp Chairs
• Kitchen Utensils
• Bedding (2-4 Guests)
• Extension Cord
• Camp Table
• Mini Cornhole Set
• Other Camping Gear (Tent, Sleeping Pad, Cooler, Bikes, etc.) Available as Add-ons
RecommendationsBozeman is the gateway to Yellowstone Country! We love the area and often camp in the nearby state forest. These areas take reservations (book early) and they all have sites that will accommodate the R-Pod.We also love the local commercial campgrounds. The Bozeman Hotsprings Resort is a fun place to stay for city amenities and the camping experience. Our favorite camping is in West Yellowstone, about 1:45 minutes south of town. we suggest Bakers Hole (FS), KOA, or Grizzly RV Park. Other things to noteWhile we understand your attachment to your pets, we cannot accommodate them, as it makes the camper unsuitable for guests with pet allergies. Thank you for your understanding. Please refrain from smoking in or near the camper. Campfire smoke is allowed!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Your trip is completely custom. Contact us for more details.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
We will send you a short video two weeks before your rental explaining the basics. We are also available to answer questions during your rental period.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric hookup is simple. Depending on the length of your stay, you probably won't need to connect the sewer. The unit has a large holding tank. This information will be included in the short instructional video.

Q.Can I camp without power?
A.
Yes. You can camp "off the grid". The unit has a propane/electric fridge that automatically toggles between the two depending on availability. The battery with a solar trickle will last a few days if you are simply running lights and/or charging portable electronic devices.
