Important Notice FOR 2023
Starting the 2023 Season (May 1, 2023) we will have a five night minimum for booking. If you would like the rig for fewer nights, we will consider this on a case by case basis. If weekday drop-off and pick-up are required prior to 6 PM, there is a $125 charge.
We will be limiting our rentals for this coming season to a total of 6 weeks. We were booked fully for 2022, at 10 weeks, so securing early is a good idea!
With 2023 comes one more feature… we’ve upgraded the mattresses! You’ll now find memory foam mattresses for all three beds, instead of the standard 1.5 inch pad that is customary for rigs.
Now, onto the fun stuff…
For the second year in a row, we are excited to share with you our beautiful, brand new, Highland Ridge Open Range 2022 trailer. It’s almost 30 feet of comfortable, light, luxury. Extremely clean, fresh, with a great layout for a family or couples!
Here's the information you're looking for:
At the rear there are two double bunks, with a big window in each, and a privacy curtain. Bring your sleeping bags and pillows for this space, make it cozy! Alternatively, you can upgrade to the linens package and have everything you need. The bathroom has a tub shower combo and a toilet, the sink is just outside the door. The setup is perfect for little ones!
In the middle is a super efficient dining, living, and kitchen combination space. The dining space seats four, and the extra couch seats three (and can be converted to a bed!). The kitchen will be well stocked with all the necessities, such as utensils, cutlery, dishes, and more. There is a range, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer for your comfort.
At the front, you will find the primary bedroom. A walk-around queen sized mattress, with optional soft sheets and duvet, means a comfortable sleep in your home away from home!
You’ll find setting up a breeze, with a 19’ power awning and levelling jacks, plus all the hookups you need. There’s no pullout, which makes the trailer super lightweight... plus no moving parts for you to worry about!
There are huge windows throughout the whole trailer. There is a surprising amount of storage, too! Lots of cupboards inside for clothes and food, and a pass through on the outside for all of your bigger items.
Your comfort and convenience is our top priority! We’ve tried to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. That’s why we limit our rental to 6 guests, particularly for delivery to Provincial Parks. This helps make sure we keep the trailer in excellent condition. If you'd like more than 6 guests, please reach out directly for approval.
We strive to provide everything you need to make your trip fun, and comfortable! We have the trailer stocked with these items for every rental, at no additional cost:
- Toilet Paper
- Dish Rags
- Kettle
- Pour Over Coffee Maker
- Plug-in Coffee Maker
- Toaster (Stovetop and Plug-In)
- Coffee/Tea
- Spices
- Collapsable Laundry Bag
- Outdoor Chairs (4 adults, 2 kids)
- Outdoor Folding Table
- Hand/Dish Soap
- Laundry Detergent
- Dishes
- Cutlery
- Microwave-Safe Rubbermaids
- Kitchen Utensils
- Trash Bags
- Television (Netflix included)
- Speaker System
- Outdoor Side Table
- Outdoor Mat
- Cards/Games/Craft Supplies
If something isn't listed, just reach out and ask... we might have it!
If you are looking to bring your furry friend along, please let us know! We understand they are part of the family. We will consider dogs, that are well trained, upon confirming your booking. This is not a guarantee, but it is something we can absolutely talk about! If approved, the fee is $50 per trip.
Be nice to our little beauty. Drop off the RV like you found it! In order to keep our rental available, we need to make sure everything remains in excellent shape.
Algonquin Park is close by, the entrance a mere 50 minutes away from Bracebridge, and offers a multitude of campsite options. We love Lake of Two Rivers. There are electrical and non-electrical sites available.
Arrowhead Park is even closer, at just 35 minutes to the park entrance. It has beaches, and excellent facilities. The campsites are relatively private, well treed. There are a lot of electrical sites available.
Taking a trip to Northern Ontario is a great way to get away. Plan for two weeks if you want to head to Sleeping Giant and back, with 2 - 3 nights at each location. This is an awesome trip in the spring and late fall, when there's less people milling about!
We love to travel from early May right through to October, to see the leaves!
Unless you are camping at a fully serviced lot, we will not rent in April.
We ask you do the following prior to drop off:
Pump out the trailer of grey/sewage tanks prior to returning*
Refill the propane tanks prior to returning*
Let us know if you run out of some of those little extras we provide, so we can restock for the next people to enjoy!
We know accidents happen. If something breaks, let us know so we can be sure to replace or fix it!
If you don’t know how to set something up, just ask! We’re here to help. We include pictures inside the cabinets, plus labels on all electrical components, of where everything goes, too!
Put all of the used laundry in the laundry basket prior to departure, so we can wash it all up for the next guests, or replace what we want to!
No Festivals.
No Smoking.
No Toll Roads.
The power is 30 AMP plug and most components do not work without it. Do not expect to utilize any appliances while boondocking or hooked up to the house through converter. We disconnect the battery during Boondock (power-fee) camping, if the generator is not rented. This means you will still have the stove, BBQ, and fridge, but the trailer is otherwise a nice place to sleep!
Standard fines are listed in the pictures, as well as in our guidebook on board, and electronically provided on booking.
If you are renting at a site with no electricity, or a home with regular plug-in, we require you rent our Generator or use an approved one (by us).

We are a family of four, who like to adventure! With a four year old and two year old, we get creative on how to stay entertained during our camping trips. Growing up on a sailboat meant always finding fun things to do outside, and sharing this experience with my kids is very important. Living in Muskoka means we can travel to Northern Ontario, Quebec, and Southern Ontario easily. We enjoy time at Mt. Tremblant and Mt. Saint Anne, Sleeping Giant and Killarney, and Algonquin each year. We hope you can enjoy some quality outdoors time with your family, too!
