RecommendationsArizona is a tremendously beautiful place to adventure in, and what better way to do so than by your own home on wheels. Our cover photos were snapped at Bulldog Canyon in the Tonto National Forest, just a short drive outside the Phoenix metro area. This breathtaking national park is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, and one of our absolute favorites when looking to unwind. But because you can never have too many options, here are a few of our top recommendations for anyone looking to explore this great state.1) Grand Canyon. It is one of the seven natural wonders of the world after all... and no AZ travel list would be complete without it... so this definitely counts as a bucket list stop.2) Sedona. This may not count as a natural wonder of the world, but it's close. If you head this way, consider a stop at Slide Rock State Park, which ranks as our kids' favorite spot on this list. And just so you know the water is freezing... I mean freezing freezing. You're welcome!3) Jerome. There's something otherworldly about this old mining town tucked way up on the side of a mountain. An old ghost town that found new life in tourism, it's now a great spot for shopping, grabbing a bite with friends, and enjoying spectacular views.4) Montezuma Castle National Monument. It's some of the most amazing cliff dwelling architecture you'll see anywhere. Hands down.5) Antelope Canyon. In my humble opinion, this is a more picturesque canyon than even the Grand Canyon. Google it... you'll see what I mean.6) Greer. A cute little town tucked into the White Mountains on the eastern edge of the state. We're partial to this place as we own a small cabin here, but truly, it's a little slice of heaven.7) Patagonia Lake. An all around great place to swim, boat, hike, etc.8) Chiricahua National Monument. An often overlooked gem. If you're heading south toward the boarder, check this park out. The hoodoos (real thing) and balanced rock formations are amazing. Other things to notePets welcome!

Our family's dream was to own a smallish camper van that would afford us the opportunity to head out on the open road when adventure called! Unfortunately, we knew it would be a sporadic and occasional luxury, as there are many things that keep us tied to home too. Our solution... share it with other adventure seekers when we couldn't get away. Win-win.

We had a lovely time with the Solis. It is a well maintained rig, and the hosts thought of everything we could possibly need. Highly recommended.

We rented the van for a 100 mile race out in McDowell Mountain Park in Fountain Hills, AZ. This van was game-changing for a race like that and we enjoyed being able to have all the comforts of home. Jodi & her family were very easy to communicate with and we had no issues with the van. We would rent again in a heartbeat and would recommend for others. Anyone looking for a crew van or race vehicle has found the right place!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The RV is about as easy as RVs get. It drives and handles like a large car.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
You'll be able to hook up to electrical outlets marked 30 or 50 amp at most campgrounds. Water lines are simply screw in, or you can use the tank. The toilet is a cassette style for easy emptying. We'll be sure to also include all instructions prior to your trip, and will be available along the way with questions.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can work with each renter to ensure the best possible experience. We strive to make the process super easy and convenient, so reach out with questions and/or ways we can make that happen. We'll do our best to accommodate you.
