"Durango" The off-grid high roof Sprinter! Unlimited mileage

The van was great for my trip to California! My dog and I stayed warm and comfortable every night and had all the amenities we needed. Danny and Dave were great with communication along the way as well. Highly recommend!

We had a great trip with Durango! Heater worked really well at night and the fan worked well during the day so we were able to leave our pups in the van and go out to eat, ect. Solar power kept everything charged. Outdoor shower does get warm although the air temps were pretty cold! Van was super easy to drive for a first timer. Owners are super friendly and were very flexible with drop off and pick up!

Danny & Dave were excellent from pre-booking on. They were super responsive and helpful and overall just went above and beyond. They took ample time to go over all the features of the vehicle and took it on a test drive with us so we could feel confident leaving the lot. They checked in with us periodically throughout our trip and were super pleasant to deal with. The vehicle got amazing gas mileage and was a pleasure to maneuver. We were able to keep cool and comfortable or warm and toasty when necessary. They’re a convenient distance away from Denver area as well.

We went on a 5-week-honeymoon-trip with Durango and took it through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah and back home. We nearly drove 6000 miles with it and never had an issue. It took us up all the mountains and kept us warm at night (great heating system), went to the desert with us and cooled us (fan was a saviour there), we drove it through some very bumpy, sandy roads (great tires and clearance) to the most beautiful places. Bottom line: we really tested this van and can say it’s durable, in good shape and just perfect for van life;).

In customising this van Danny and Dave have thought of everything you would need to make it you temporary home:
- lots of kitchen work-/storagespaces, good water supply and pump, spacious cooler, the stove works perfect (although the scottle-grill beats it by far 😉).

- the solar panels and battery-system make sure you never run out of power (we never went under 88%), all kinds of plug ins to charge you devices and great sound system.
- convertible bed, lots of storage spaces, outside shower.
But most importantly they built everything so conveniently and with attention to detail that it really doesn’t take a lot of space and still feels like a tiny home.

Dave and Danny are really great hosts. You can can feel they’re renting out something they really value. But still they are very relaxed owners and encouraged you to use it.
From the first meeting, throughout the trip, to the return, communication was great and quick.They really took time to explain everything and answered all the questions we had along the way. All in all, everything you could hope for.

Thank you Danny and Dave for providing such a memorable experience for us! We feel really lucky we’ve found this beautiful honeymoon rig. We’ll be back!!!

We were the first renters of Durango! My girlfriend, dog and I had an amazing trip to crested butte! This van suits anyone looking for a weekend or multi week trip. Durango cruises up and down mountain passes and can drive on forest roads no problem. Owners were very personable, friendly, and communicative. They took the time to walk me through everything so I understood how all accessories worked and were very reachable if I had any questions while on the road.
