Mark was a great host; very accommodating with pick up and drop off times as well as quick to respond to any messages. The orientation was seamless and we enjoyed the trailer for our camping trip!

TThe RV was fine…

Mark’s answer

I will deal with facts. Renter broke the kitchen faucet handle (trailer has been rented to other people before him and was perfectly fine). He broke majority of porcelain dished, plastic dishes supplied for free to the enjoyment of the renter. He broke door of the microwave which is not working now, when he drove recklessly on the road full of potholes despite me asking him politely to drive very slowly. Microwave glass plate is chipped from falling down. He broke fire extinguisher holder. I have to reseal trailer at the front now due to his reckless driving. Both wheels are pitted and paint is gone because he drove without proper care and with high speed through rock gardens. He brought the trailer back 2.5 hours late despite me calling and texting him, finally I reached to Outdoorsy trying to get some help. When he brought trailer back with all things broken, and my reaction was- what did you do to my trailer, he told me that all broken things is my fault, didn't even apologize for what happen. He proudly showed me video he recorded after getting to his campsite with all the carnage on the floor. During his initial visit to pick up the trailer he recorded our conversation which is illegal without my consent. He proudly announced that after he returned the trailer.
This guy will never rent my trailer again.

Mark’s answer

The bad vibe come when renter asked about picking trailer up at 8:30 am knowing that pick up time is 3 pm. I am flexible, however having automatic booking option and not knowing if somebody else might book it for a day before I suggested to the customer booking additional day. He didn't liked that as he never responded to my message. On a day of picking trailer up he was late one hour despite my attempts to reach him calling and texting him. He told me he was stuck in traffic, which I can understand however I don't know why he didn't let me know that, having my phone number. When he come to pick it up black tank showed 3/4 full and we did note of that on delivery papers. He said he will empty tanks before the trip on the way to his house, and after I got his text saying that tank was full and he has to borrow hose from somebody else and took him 15 minutes to empty it. I apologized for his inconvenience and asked him not to empty tanks I will do so. I got an idea that tank is showing inaccurate reading which is common on those trailers according to Google. When he came back from the trip I went to the damping station myself and damped black tank, rinsed it and damped gray tank and the whole operation took 8 minutes and the hose worked perfectly.
One thing renter was correct, was that fridge wasn't completely clean and he was right on that, and I apologized for that.
Good customers, good people, we just didn't start on right foot.
