We've had great fun and adventures across the country in Thor, and have decided to share our love of travel and exploring with others out there, in the hope that you too, can experience the same kind of excitement we have every time we venture out. Our RV features the Mercedes Sprinter chassis running on diesel fuel for great gas mileage. All the amenities are included for a safe, secure and smooth running vacation. A generator, water and waste tanks, lithium batteries for long lasting power, convection microwave oven, 2 burner cooktop, spacious refrigerator and separate freezer, full bathroom, water heater, furnace, and AC, allows you to camp just about anywhere, including dry camping. Charging ports for your devices keep you powered up at all times. Storage space is plentiful, and the driver and passenger chairs swivel around for additional seating inside. The rear bed is a short queen, meaning it's 75 inches long. This RV has 2 slideouts to provide a generous amount of floor space to move about in, and the living area has a skylight that adds not only more light, but more ventilation as well, as do the upgraded ceiling fans in the bathroom and over the rear bed. This camper works very well for a family of 4, 3 friends out to explore a range of activities and time together, or a couple wanting to go to new places and see what the RV life is all about. The Mercedes Sprinter is smooth to drive, up to date on all maintenance, and will provide plenty of power to get you to your destinations. Pickup and drop-off time and location will be determined between ourselves and renter, and is very flexible. What's included
The RV includes 1 set of sheets, dishes and utensils for eating and cooking, and blankets. There are 2 indoor TV's, and 1 outdoor TV. Cutting board, wine bottle opener, Ignitor, scissors, kitchen towels, soap, sponges, trash can and bags, 1 roll paper towels, 4 toilet paper. 2 sleeping bags and a 2-bike carrier are available on request at no extra cost.Recommendations
The southwest corner of Colorado has many opportunities for outdoor recreation. From places such as Mesa Verde National Park about 30 miles away, to the various nearby native American archaeological sites and ruins, to a multitude of hiking and biking trails within an hour's radius of Durango, both paved and dirt, river rafting, kayaking, hot springs, spectacular mountain passes and lakes, and more, you won't be at a loss for finding something to do. Campgrounds range from the national forest to the private, as well as dry camping in various locations around Durango, if you're looking to get away from the larger commercial campgrounds. Durango's historic downtown provides plenty of options for shopping and dining out at locally owned stores and restaurants, offering all types of menus. If you plan to go further afield, I will be happy to give you more specifics when you pick up the RV.Other things to note
No smoking of any kind, including Marijuana. THIS RV IS AVAILABLE TO NON SMOKERS ONLY. There will be a minimum cost of $700 if this condition is broken. As owner, I will be the sole determiner of this matter, upon the drop off inspection. Pets are limited to a maximum of 2 small dogs, no cats - no pet fee. No tailgating or festivals. No towing. No climbing on the roof or storing items on the roof. While parked when camping, the RV must be as level as possible, to function in a parked position (necessary for proper operation of the refrigerator). Upon pickup, you'll receive the RV with a full tank of diesel, and a full tank of propane. It must be returned with these tanks full. If either one or both are not full, there will be a $250 charge. Black and gray water tanks must be dumped and empty on return. Plan to spend about an hour upon pickup to review the operation of the various systems of the RV. Plan to spend about a half hour on return to check over the RV for the after-trip inspection. If prearranged, I can pick up or deliver people to the Durango airport for a small fee.
