2013 Roadtrek Roadtrek Class B
Roadie, a 2013 Roadtrek Motorhome 170-Versatile Class B Motorhome, is a conversion van based on the popular full-sized Chevrolet Express 2500 Van with an efficient 4.8 liter V8 gas-operated engine requiring only regular unleaded fuel, and a heavy-duty six-speed Alison automatic transmission. In addition to being a self-contained camper vehicle, he can tow up to a 6,000 pound trailer, support a 1,000 pound tongue weight, and features a Towing Mode and an electronic brake controller. Averages 18.3 miles a gallon of gas without a trailer being pulled. Features a flushing toilet, permanent wardrobe and storage cabinet, 2.8 KW Onan MicroLite generator, electric leather power sofa which converts to a bed for two, gas furnace, heat pump, air conditioner, refrigerator, sink with running water, microwave oven, bossy aftermarket wheels and a 19" LCD TV with a CD/DVD player and decent stereo sound system, even with as subwoofer. Based on the great-handling Chevrolet Express 2500 full-size van, Roadie is easy to maneuver through traffic and fit into most car-sized parking spots. The 170 has many features you take for granted in a car, like better fuel economy than most camper vans (never mind larger motorhomes), along with many "full-size" motorhome features. Roadie has recently been safety-checked and renovated with new Bilstein camper shock absorbers, brake pads, brake calipers, rotors, tires, all four upper and lower control arm and ball joint assemblies, a LPG tank regulator, 3-way refrigerator, and a modern-age lithium-ion phosphate (LiFeP04) cabin battery which gives you twice the boon docking camp time over a same-sized traditional lead acid battery. The aisle shower concept in such a small space was not really viable, so I have removed the shower curtain. However, the removable shower head (on an extendable hose) can be used to take sponge baths in the camper van. Includes two comforters, three sleeping pillows, a throw pillow, an electric blanket, and two lap blankets. What's includedThis mini motorhome features an underbody gas-operated generator which will power all onboard systems and appliances without plugging in to external power, as well as a rear vision backup camera and dashboard digital display, and a 12V Automotive Heated Mug that plugs into the dashboard.RecommendationsWe recommend the Olympic National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Spirit Lake Highway, Castle Rock, WA, USA, the Quinault Rain Forest Trailhead, South Shore Road, Quinault, WA, USA, the Hoh Rainforest (Upper Hoh Road, Forks, WA), Ruby Beach, Port Angeles, WA, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in nearby Elma, Washington.Other things to noteA dog that won't chew up our mobile cabin is quite welcome....

Jayson was awesome— he was friendly, professional, and accommodating. He did a great job explaining how everything worked, and was available immediately when I did have a question. Loved “Roadie”— very easy to drive and get into all places I wanted. Comfortable, fully equipped, great fuel economy, what else is there to say? I would definitely rent her or any other rv from Jayson again.
