Coastal Adventure Without Limits!

My name is Sean, and I'm a Canadian ex-pat living in San Diego. I'm a mountain kid by upbringing, so my idea of a great vacation is backpacking, trekking between huts, or skiing - downhill or cross-country. My girlfriend and I have hiked extensively through the Alps and the Rockies - a lot of relatively minimalist hiking and some fastpacking, but there always has to be a carrot at the end, so a day at the spa is generally mandated after a long hike. So as travelers, we're experienced and considerate. As a host, my van is set up to go most anywhere, but maximizing utility and comfort along the way. Lifted and with oversize all-terrain tires, it has a full-size bed with a great mattress - super comfy and plushly appointed. The van is set up for two people who really want to enjoy their time without worrying about proximity to the grid - 300W of solar, 120V power, and 33 gallons of fresh water, along with a composting toilet, means you aren't limited to staying in campgrounds with hookups, although there is a shore power connection if you want it.
