I was pro status for over over two years until multiple requests asked to take the Hurricane to AZ, ID, CA, and Utah. That distance is out of my service area, and because of not accepting those booking requests, my pro status was removed by Outdoorsy.This immaculate RV has 1 1/2 bathrooms, 500W off grid Solar w/400ah Lithium! Free Winegard 4G LTE mobile hot spot. Plenty of storage inside and out. Upgraded Safe-T-Plus Steering to help side draft. Everything is ready to go!-Free delivery and set-up; take down and pick-up in Geneva!
-If you are going South or West, I'd be happy to meet you around 90 & 271, or your welcome to leave your vehicle on site.Pick up early as 8:00 AM. Drop off late as 7:00 PM. Need it delivered? Q.What type of car/truck do you need to tow this trailer? What are the hitch requirements?
A.
Well, this doesn't get towed, but it has an 8K lb hitch. It is equipped with a Blue Ox towing system, so if you have a car that is set up to connect to the Blue Ox system, you are welcome to use it. (Please follow all transfer case, differential and transmission compatibility rules when towing with all 4 wheels on the ground.)
Q.Are you boondocking or are you going to have full RV camp hook up?
A.
Boon-docking: No electric, water or sewer hookup. 500W SOLAR! 400ah Lithium Batteries! 1800W 120V power inverter! The generator needs to be placed on AUTOSTART mode so it runs on a cloudy day. The 50 Gal onboard fresh water tank is it! Use it sparingly and have bottled water on hand. Propane tank is 20.8 gal for cooking, hot water heater and furnace. Dumping waste? Depending on how long, you may need to find a RV dumping and propane station. Sponge bath/short showers. Must plan well in advance.
Q.How fast can I drive the Hurricane?
A.
RV tires have a 75mph max. For your safety and the safety of those on board, and those on the road around you, please do not drive over 70MPH. I don't pay much attention how fast others are driving around me, they are not helping me pay my fuel bill! For good reasons, the slower the better!
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
It's much easier to drive than it looks. 5 things to keep in mind.
#1 The Coach will only do what you direct. You are boss.
#2 Prior to turning on defrost/anti-fog, turn on fans and crack windows.
#3 Need 13' overhead clearance.
#4 While turning anywhere, delay your turn and turn slowly. The rear of the RV swings out and if too close, you could take out a pump, car, park meter.
#5 Backing rookie! It can be helpful to talk on speakerphone to your co-pilot, being your eyes outside in the back.
