Host was pleasant and fine with communicating. Set up went just fine. We did have a bit of a frustrating experience with the actual trailer. Our accommodations did not allow us to be hooked into electricity so we were relying on the trailer battery to get us through. The owner hooked solar panels up the charge them, which made us hopeful. The first night we were awoken by the fridge beeping, due to low battery. Second night at 1:30am the carbon monoxide alarm starts beeping about every 1 minute very loudly due to a low battery. 2 hours later it finally just stopped once the trailer battery completely died. Reached out to the trailer owner and he suggested not having anything running at night. Problem was, we weren't running anything! He suggested running the generator a bit longer the next day so the battery would stay charged enough the next night. We ran the generator for 6 straight hours in hopes that we could have uninterrupted sleep. At 1:45am the carbon monoxide alarm was going off, this time more rapidly and more often. The red light flashing indicated that it was the actual carbon monoxide alarm. This was concerning so we opened all the windows and door. The alarm did stop going off which gave us just enough comfort to go back to sleep. We know enough about trailers to conclude that the trailer battery(s) don’t seem to be getting fully charged. Should be able to go a full night without it dying. It would have been nice to have something offered to us for the inconvenience and frustrating situations we experienced every night. A word of caution to anyone who may not have electricity to hook into wherever you are camping. Actual trailer was fine, plenty of room for our family.
