2014 Starcraft Autumn Ridge
We have enjoyed camping in West Michigan for forty years. You should see why! There are so many lakes, rivers, streams and hills; it's a beautiful place! Creation is so beautiful and helps us relax from the stress of our everyday lives! Camping is a good way to see the beauty of creation and find the relief that nature can help you find. Let us help you find a new favorite spot! Or let us show you our favorite spot! Enjoy our camper as much as we have!We have a queen bed for the "master bedroom" area and there are places for clothes above and along side the head of the bed. It's a bit longer than a normal camper bed as we have a spacer in place at the head of the bed to make it a little longer as we are both tall. Hopefully that's something that you'll enjoy as well. The couch folds out to about a twin size bed. Perfect for a favorite grandchild! It's also a nice spot to sit by the open window and enjoy the breeze through the screen door and enjoy the wildlife in the woods around you or view the beautiful sunset over Lake Michigan (or watch your neighbors a little). The dining table folds down to a bed as well. I believe it's most comfortable for one, but two children could sleep there if need be. I provide a fitted sheet and some elastic clips to hold the sheet tighter to keep the cushions in place and add comfort. I usually have a pillow in a cabinet for this bed and a comforter as well.Under the dinette there are two pull-out drawers for storage. The back bench also has some storage; that's where the extra cushion is for when you convert it into a bed.The bunk is closer to full size bunk beds. I'd prefer to keep just one person on top bunk just because I feel it's too hard for adults to climb up there if there's already one person on the top bunk. But the bottom bunk is much easier for two people to get into. Both bunks have windows that can be opened if necessary for air flow; and both have a light. I do provide a sheet for both, a comforter, and a pillow. There is an outdoor mat for under the awning at the front door. This makes it nice to help keep the dirt out of your temporary home-away-from-home. We always have preferred to keep windows opened at night and, if it's too hot out we use the AC during the day. But the night temperatures in Michigan, especially close to Lake Michigan, are usually cooler and make for pleasant sleeping weather. I have some tips and tricks to help with privacy if you want to keep the door opened while you sleep. I'll share them with you if you'd like during drop off.The kitchen has a sink, microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and an outdoor fridge as well. I do provide some plates, cups, bowls, a coffee maker (Keurig & some pods) silverware, pots and pans, knives, and cutting board. There is a toaster as well.If there is something you'd like included, just ask. If I can make it possible, I will. There is a bathroom, with a sink, toilet, tub/shower. But, we prefer the toilet not be used heavily. #1 use only. We've had some experience in the past (older camper) that has us convinced that anything more than #1 should be done in the public restrooms at the campground. If you are at a campsite with full hook-up, you would be able to use the shower in the camper no problem. and the sinks. You won't need to worry about over-filling the gray-water tank when you have septic hook-up. That makes camping quite pleasant. There are two TV's, a radio/CD player, a DVD player, some dvd's (not many kids movies), a couple of games, and some cards in the camper for those rainy days when you just want to stay at the campground. But if you didn't know, there are so many trails for hiking and biking in Michigan, I hope you find some time to hit those trails and create some great new memories! With forty years of camping behind us, we have so many memories and we've been to many places. But our favorites are in Ludington. Lake Michigan is amazing and beautiful and provides some of the best sunsets you'll ever see. We hope you find some time to enjoy those beautiful parts of Michigan! What's included• Keurig (one cup at a time)

My hubby and I have now been camping for 40 years! Always one or two weeks per year of our marriage we go camping! We started out in a tent and then went to a pop-up. Then a small travel trailer for a few years, with no slide-outs. It was a rough trailer, but it served its purpose. Eventually we got a fifth-wheel. It didn't have any bunks. It was awesome, but when we got our first grandkids we realized we needed a bunkhouse. and here we go! NOW, we have a nice camping trailer. We want to share it with you! Would you like to camp for three days? Or seven? Let us know!!! :-)
