Other things to note
Welcome to our Imagine Travel Trailer! Here a few reminders and tips from us.
Only use the provided RV toilet paper. DO NOT flush anything except RV toilet paper. Give a 10 second flush or longer if necessary.
Water usage - If you're not hooked up to a sewer, take quick showers or you will run out of grey water space. If you're hooked up to a sewer, we will have shown you how to drain the tanks. You shouldn't have to do that daily. Never just leave them open. Be sure to close the 3 valves and final pull valve after draining. The tank monitors only give an idea of the tank levels. If you are careful about water usage, you should be fine for 3+ nights, but this will vary depending on the number of campers, etc.
You may use the awning but it must be retracted when not in use, when you are away from the trailer, and at night. If it's windy, retract it and be sure to retract it if there is a storm. Do not assume that it is rainproof.
Leave the slide control alone. The slide must stay out.
If you use the air vents in the ceiling, be sure to close them when you’re finished venting humid air. Close them whenever you leave the trailer. The vent near the kitchen and in the bathroom have fans. Turn these off when not using the vent. Keep all windows closed when you’re not at the trailer.
Power usage - The trailer has many conveniences of home, but you can’t operate all of the electrical appliances at the same time. For example, you can’t use the coffee maker and the microwave at the same time or it will trip the breakers. We turn up the temp on the AC (or turn it off) so it doesn’t run while using the microwave or making coffee. The trailer is only 30 amps. You may have to reset the gfci in the kitchen if an outlet stops working.
The circuit box is under the TV cabinet. You may have to reset a breaker. If resetting a breaker doesn’t work, go to the outside power pedestal and reset.
Turn on the hot water heater about 10 minutes before showering or doing dishes. It does not take long. Turn it off when showering or dishes are complete. The hot water is very hot so be careful! Please use the electric water heater only.
Make sure the fridge and freezer doors “click” shut or it won’t stay cold.
Pets may not be left alone in the trailer at any time. Please inform of us of any pets that will be camping.
You may use all of the dishes and other kitchen supplies, including paper products.
We keep the TV and radio controls in the armrest between the recliners. We will have scanned for available channels for you.
Please leave the trailer as clean as you found it. We may charge a cleaning fee if the trailer is not returned reasonably clean.
If you run into any problems, contact Charlie.
Have fun and camp on!
