4overall it was a positive experience, I might rent the trailer again, w/ caveats. The good... Big, roomy, clean. Very nice refrigerator, lite for the size, 33ft OA, electric jack. I got the BH version and it would work well for my grandkids. The not so good... 1. The battery on the trailer was dead. In order to raise the trailer required being plugged into shore power. 2. 3 of 4 tires were underinflated. This is a big one! These tires should be a 65psi and 3 of them were 50 PSI. The Owner didn't have a compressor. Since I only had about 60 miles round trip to go, and the weather was mild plus I already had a park reservation and people were expecting me, I decided to take it anyway and hope to pass somewhere to get air. Well, my truck and the trailer together measured 56' the only place I would probably fit is a truck stop, didn't pass one though. If it had been the summer and I was taking a long trip this wouldn't have worked. 3. The amenities stated the camper included toilet paper, it didn't. 4. One of the propane tanks was empty after boiling a pot of water, fortunately the 2nd tank had propane. 5. The AC worked great, but the weather changed and the heater wouldn't work. I've owned several RV's and even installed the same brand and model thermostat in my last one, I know how it works and I couldn't get the heat to work. I'm not sure, but I know that if the battery voltage is low the heater is designed not to start. This could be true even if connected to Shore power, again, not sure how that works. 6. Owner was slow to non-responsive with questions I had before renting, I almost didn't rent the unit because of this. 7. The water hose had been patched and jimmy rigged to work but you had to turn the entire hose to connect to the water supply and leaked badly the entire time. So even though the unit is relatively new and indecent shape, The owner should be a lot more conscientious about the safety and preparedness of the unit before renting it out.
