You're all set! Get ready to enjoy your vacation to the fullest; however, there are a few ground rules you'll need to be aware of before getting to all the fun:
Please keep in mind that you are renting a piece of equipment, and you must know how to properly operate it to enjoy your vacation. We have detailed walk-through videos for each campsite type available on our website, so be sure to watch the appropriate one for your trip prior to your arrival. Once here, please utilize the FAQ page on our website to troubleshoot issues before calling our office. For emergencies we are available 24 hours a day by hitting Option 4 when calling. Be sure to turn off water at the hose spigot outside or turn off the propane tank on the front of the trailer to stop emergency leaks prior to calling!CHECK IN time begins at 3:00PM and CHECK OUT time is before 11AM. (Please note that our Check-in and out times are different than the campground's)
Late check-in and/or check-out’s may result in a charge without prior approval.
No smoking OF ANY KIND in or around units. Be mindful of the campfire smoke as well.
No climbing on the ladders or roof.
Do not place items, such as fishing poles etc. up against trailers, as they can scratch the paint.
No moving the trailer after delivery.
There will be a charge if we have to make a trip to unlock trailer due to locking keys in trailer or lost keys. ($25 minimum)
During the hot summer months bring fans (battery powered) and mister bottles to help stay cool! Travel trailer A/C's can only cool about 20 degrees cooler than the outside air...so when its 100 (or hotter) you can plan on 80 deg. and above inside the unit! A/C takes a while to initially cool the trailers down as they are delivered in the afternoon heat. Please be patient and know that it will cool down if the shades are kept down and the doors and windows closed...this is typical of camper life! If the A/C is misused it can throw the breaker or freeze up the unit, this can take a few hours to defrost and begin cooling again.
An outdoor area rug, plates, bowls, glasses, basic cookware, utensils, a toaster, coffee maker and blender are complimentary. (If you would like firewood or outdoor furniture, just ask prior to your trip!)
We provide 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 paper towel, 2 large and 1 small trash bag, and 1 dish towel. If you have a large party or a longer stay, you may want to bring more of these supplies.
Bring your cold food items and medication in a cooler with plenty of ice as the RV fridge takes 6-8 hours to completely cool down.
If you are dry camping or in a partial hook up site, please keep in mind that trailers have limited wastewater storage. We dump at the end of your stay for free, however if the tanks fill prior to your departure and you require a dump service, there is a $50 charge or $150 if it’s an after-hours emergency dump. Please monitor your tank gauges and call us when they reach 2/3 full to avoid any extra costs. If the trailer or belly of the trailer becomes flooded due to overfilling the tanks, there will be a charge for water damage control.
Very important to only put small amounts of toilet paper down the toilet. NO WIPES, TAMPONS, ETC. CAN BE FLUSHED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. A $250 MINIMUM CHARGE WILL APPLY. Wipes and tampons can clog the toilet causing smells and overflowing during your stay, taking enjoyment out of your trip. They will also immediately clog the dump station and our equipment which causes major problems for the campground and us. The toilet valve can "stick" if the flush pedal does not fully come back up. It is your responsibility to make sure the water completely stops running into the toilet bowl after each use, as it will overflow into the trailer.
There are mattress covers on the beds please be sure to bring sheets, pillows and cases, blankets, and bath towels. There will be a charge if we have to wash the provided mattress covers so be sure and put your linens on before the kids, dogs or luggage hit the beds.
We are Pet Friendly and are happy to accommodate your furry family members. If your pet will be joining you on your vacation, let us know in advance. There is a $25 fee per pet, however that increases to $150 if not disclosed prior to your trip. Please do not leave your pet unattended in the trailer at any time as the power has been known to go out occasionally and the unit can heat up quickly!!! Please keep your pet kenneled and off the furniture. The trailers are checked with a black light after each reservation and a charge will apply for any urine, damages, etc.
We require the trailer to be returned in RENT READY condition. If you prefer NOT to clean on your vacation just let us know so we have time to schedule someone to do so. The amount of the cleaning fee will depend upon how much time is required to bring it back to the condition it was when you received it. (We do vacuum and sanitize every unit before it is delivered)
We provide a broom/dustpan, all-purpose cleaner and cleaning cloths. PLEASE LEAVE CLEANER, DISH AND HAND SOAP FOR THE NEXT CAMPER!
The full or partial $500 security deposit hold will be released within 7 days of your departure unless it is held due to damages. (Please note that security deposit funds are held and released, you will not see an actual "refund" on your bank statement)
There are great informational YouTube videos on camping in a travel trailer if you are a 1st timer! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING A FEW TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE BEST TRIP POSSIBLE!!!
Now that we got all that out of the way... Enjoy and Relax!
