*note no tent is provided but you are welcome to bring your own. The mattress will be way more comfortable than sleeping on the ground though.RecommendationsA perfect 5 day itinerary would include...1st stop the BEACH for snorkeling, surfing, sunbathing and relaxing. Explore the towns and local restaurants.
2nd day stop spend a night in Hana. Explore the waterfalls, hikes, cliff jumping, Black Sand beach and the PiPiwai trail.
3rd day spend the day returning from Hana, enjoying the views and catching some stops you missed on the drive there. Make it to Haleakala to enjoy sunset and a spend a night at Hosmer Grove.
4th day explore Haleakala Crater. If your up for it commit to the 11 mile
'Sliding Sands' hike inside the Crater...its sure to make your jaw drop.
5th day back to the Beach!Other things to noteTo start on your Adventures,
Reserve your campsites immediately upon booking… they book up 2 wks-a month in advance.Drivers must be a min. of 25 yrs. of age . I will request a screenshot of your Drivers License and proof of current automobile insurance that shows full coverage on your own vehicle prior to checking in.There is a $500 refundable deposit required.Your camper van will come clean with all necessary items to camp and cook plus many extras.
It will have a full tank of gas please return with a full tank of gas.
The vehicle has automatic transmission.There is no off road driving or 4x4 driving.Driving to Haleakala use lower gears on your way down. There will be plenty of signs to remind you.Pick up time is 3pm
Drop off time is 12 noonPlease respect the Island and leave no rubbish behind.Be Safe and enjoy your Island adventure!
