2013 Forest River Rockwood Freedom
2013 Forest River Rockwood Freedom

Update on water heater: I installed a new tankless water heater and so far no problems. Ranger1 is ready to go.
I am new to trailer camping, and Ranger 1 is a new to me used travel trailer. It has been maintained well and not used too many times. I have amassed tons of experience and stuff tent camping with the intention of buying a nice trailer someday. Well, that day has come and I would like to share it with you and your family. I am offering this first as a barebones rental. That means if you only need the trailer then I have priced it without any add-ons included. This trailer is easy to tow and has plenty of room to be comfortable. This is a smoke-free trailer and I would ask that you respect that and also try not to smoke near the trailer as well. Any smoke smell in the trailer will add an additional cleaning fee.
When you rent this cozy travel trailer you have the option to add the stuff you need. The first option will get almost everything you need for a fun family adventure. We have 4 comfy lounging chairs, a Solo Stove firepit, dishes, and everything you need to set up camp either at a modern campsite or if you want to rough it and go to a primitive site or just find a nice spot to park for a few days.
If you have other interests just let me know and I will see if I can accommodate you.
I also have a cell phone booster that I can include if you are going somewhere with limited cell service.
If you are going somewhere that does not have wifi, I also have a Starlink RV package I can include.
Both the cell phone booster and Starlink are for an additional fee.
Only the essentials to hook up the trailer and tow it is included. That includes a hitch if you need it, a water hose with pressure regulator, a 30 amp surge protector, and septic connections with a sloped riser. I also have some leveling blocks and shocks to secure the trailer. If you want to add additional items they are available as add-ons.
This rig is new to me so I have not taken any adventures in it yet. But my family loves hiking and fishing. You can also take it to a nice modern campground with tons of amenities. We have done both in tents. I actually spent 2 months living in this trailer when dealing with a death in the family over the summer. I don't want to go into too much detail, but it was very helpful to work and sleep just outside of our family home so we could be close to loved ones during this time.
If you have any special request, just ask and I will try to accommodate. Again, I just ask that the No Smoking rule be followed. Enjoy your vacation. I don't mind if you take it to festivals or tailgate, but be respectful so others can enjoy the trailer

Hello Everyone, my family is originally from Texas. We moved to Pennsylvania when my kids were small and they have grown up in PA. We used to do a lot of tent camping and finally got a trailer to pull. I am an IT professional and I also do various types of photography when time allows. Our interests are quite diverse so we are always going to different spots or trying different adventures. We would love to see all of this beautiful world, but in the meantime, we would like to help others have some adventures of their own.
