There are 2 solar panels installed on the roof of the trailer (1x 100 amp / 1x 200 amp), charging the upgraded 2 batteries we installed in the front of the trailer for extra charging power. If camping without access to electricity, we advise that you make sure your camp site receives direct sun light to the solar panels, as most new trailer models are now equipped with a 12-Volt fridge, powered by solar or plug-in, not propane. Direct sunlight for most of the day is necessary to keep the batteries at an optimal charge. To fully use all electrical amenities of the trailer, we recommend booking an electrical site.
